Great video man, thank you for putting this out there. I appreciate the attention to detail. I'm still trying to wrap my head around making macros to make rotation more flawless. (I'm old lol) I'd love to see a short video of you covering this.
I'll try working on it. What I do is put agony trial as the first skill in macro with the condition faith sigil > 4, then holy barrage if 5 stacks, torment, holy missile
I play two builds, one with Agony Trial and other one with Pain Trial, Agony for Raids/Arena and Pain for Dungeons because DoT would go to waste on low hp mobs. However, in both builds I´m playing Faith Sync to increase my teammate´s DPS (also there´s currently a bug where you can recieve the buff twice on yourself) and Undying Faith, when it procs, The IS burst window is way more flawless and therefore you get to cast more Holy Barrages. I always skipped Soul Imprint because 3,6% Atk doesn´t seem to have much impact on my dps. I am also interested in what Emblems are go-to for DPS priest. Afterall I´m glad someone has finally released some DPS priest guide even tho I slightly disagree with couple takes. (Also idk what everyone has with the DMG points window instead of the DPS window that´s generally preffered by most players) :D
Ooh nice! Thanks for sharing! I myself never really played any CBTs so I'm happy to actually learn more from other DPS priests out there because there really isn't much guides out there for the build
If you don't mind me saying, I personally don't care about the total damage. I care only about the Dps. Furthermore, build videos without showing practical use in active PvX I cannot respect.
I understand that, I did not include footage on any dungeon runs/pvp because it felt like the video would run for a very long time. I am working on dungeon runs and will upload gameplay on them as a DPS soon
do you think dps priest is good in Arena 3v3?. Personally i play dps role very well in most other competitive games. But I heard this game have priest in dps style. Is it really standout in PVP 3v3, or in battle field? Just want to try something new.
It's pretty okay to use in PVP, as long as you can get a good party going in 3v3 the damage is decent and you also have access to a stun and silence ability. I just haven't had much time to actually play as DPS in 3v3 because almost everyone's already a dps in our guild.
i am also a dmg priest that switches to heal in arena. But my question is, what comp do you play? i tryed some and going with pala and warrior at the moment.
yo buddy, i was testing out both builds too. But IMO the pain trail build doing around 150dps more than agony trail. Also on most my pieces i got Holy missle dmg+350 ( 4 pieces). I also tried forcing the 10 % CDR for more Missle dmg but i think the Math doesnt work 100 %. it said 10.12% X 100 % more dmg on the main missle . but i think the math behind it is 100 %+ 10,12% .
Ohh nice! Those are great findings! I have not personally looked into numbers computation yet but its good to know that it's not multiplicative, but additive for bonus damage
