    I love this. I like it so much more than the really large collections people have. This room totally looks like a place to hang out in on a daily bases. Great vibe.

      @logan-el6hl That is a muticade with a Timepilot marque. It originally had Timepilot 2 in it, but I really didn't like that game. Originally, it looked like an old vector monitor cabinet.

      @@patrickalmquist4762 The building goes up next Wednesday. The solar system is 1/2 grid tie and 1/2 off grid. Ill upload a couple of basic videos showing the progress.

    WHOA! Thats awesome! The TV over the bar is a super nice touch! It definitely reminds me of the old OLD days when they used to put little arcades in the corners of Casino's for people to drop their kids off while they gamble lol.

      Thanks man! We built it on a shoestring budget. It turned out better than we could have imagined. Just gotten lucky finding arcades for a reasonable price. The room used to be an attached garage we never used.

    This is really neat!
    I especially like the use of a Stargate cabinet for a multicade. Feels kinda appropriate that it can take you to any arcade game.

    Very nice! I also have an Arcade that's very similar in setup, except we have a pool table in the center of the room. Our payphone is mounted on a pillar at an archway, but like yours, is fully operational. Keep having fun and continue to live the dream!

    How did you wire the switch in the Stargate cabinet? I would think that each time you switch it, whichever board you are switching to would have to boot up. It's way cool that with a flip of the switch, either board is "up" and ready to play. Please tell how you wired that? Thanks!

      I got them from Amazon and mounted them to the ceiling also got strip black lights I mounted under the pin and skee ball

    I just bought an original upright Stargate and a Tempest.
    I wanted a horizontal and a vertical screen to install Game Elf jamma.
    I bought both machines as the CRT monitors are mint.
    I did not know you could wire it so you can flip from a jamma to the original PCB board.
    How did you manage that?

    Wow. You scored high with the ambience here! 💕 Love the sexy paint & lighting, and the added payphone, popcorn, and soda/bar area just make it that much cooler. I want to put in a similar arcade room. What's your electricity bill like per month? How about maintanence costs for the cabinets, etc.?

      We actually are building a bigger one out in the desert all solar powered. But the bar lights are floresent, the black lights are led so not much electricity. The arcades are maybe 100 watts each but only run a few hours a week. Our bill maybe was 20-30 bucks more a month.

      That Rygar machine has a fun story behind it. I used to live in Minnesota and answered a Craigslist ad. I met a guy out in the woods who drove me out to hidden trailers in the woods. He used to be a carnie and collected roller coasters, bumper cars ect. It was one of the easiest arcades to pull from his multible trailers. Like 3 years later the American pickers featured this guy.

    I hope that atari didn't work or was in rough shape atleast when you made that coaster sad to think one was destroyed granted thousands were made there's really not many left imo sure you can find them but the people that have them dont usually take good care of them and they are left to rot in a closet or something and when rediscovered they tend to be in rough condition

      I wouldn't use a working Atari. A while back I bought 25 2600s off evay not working. I was able to fix 20 of them with 5 2600s worth of bad chips.

    Are the multi game cabinets real or are the games fake knock offs? Seems like a lot of games for one cabinet considering the real arcade games only had one per cabinet.

      Real cabinets but had bad boards so just using the existing controls, monitors and cabinet with a multicade board. Using this helps fit a bigger arcade in a smaller room. I only care about arcades that have unique controls to save like. Centapede. Ikari warriors, Cabal ext. Ext.
