Although I'm not KellyAnne, I have a similar situation. I woke up after we married 12 years ago- we do have heated discussions, but usually we agree to disagree and focus more on the areas we agree on an the positives we see in eachother. Public funding should never go to private non-public schools. Also religious-based schools should not receive money or assistance from the government hence the separation of church and state. These schools choose to operate in the fashion they are and should deal with it on their own, especially when you have underfunded public schools. Unlike public schools most of these private schools charge a horrendous amount of money for students to attend leaving some to be excluded. The idea that they are funded by Sunday donations is a joke. There is a reason why they don't receive the same funding from the government as public schools. If you want public funding operate as a public organization, its their choice.
Thank you kellyanne for simply pointing out the BIGGER problem right now. We need some sort of recourse and actual change to happen these protests and movements don’t actually accomplish anything.

Instead of tearing down statues and other symbolic creations of our past history, why not start adding statues, etc. to the present, the same type of things of today that represent some of the changes we as a society have made, and positive creations to show the progress we have and ARE HAVING recently and today ? Instead of destroying things from the past, just add things that signify and show more recent accomplishments. Progressives should pursue adding to history, not destroying what has been built in the past.
