Is the carlinkit wired intended for cars that have an Android system installed but no carplay function? Or do you have to have a carplay function in the car? I have an Android radio installed in my car but no carplay.

Hi, I'm Getulio and I watch your videos here on the channel. I was wondering if you can help me. I'm having a problem with Apple CarPlay... I have a kronos KR1-T3 multimedia and a Carlinkit CPC200-CCPA to enable my iPhone. When I access Waze, the volume is very low compared to the radio and I can hardly hear the instructions needing to turn up the car stereo a lot to understand, and then turn it down again to go back to the radio; would there be any way to solve this, so I can improve the sound of Waze in Apple CarPlay. I appreciate your attention and if you can answer me I thank you and I look forward to... A big hug.

Hyy I have the carlinkit carplay dongle i have downloaded the autokit app in my android sterio and whenever I connect the dongle to usb it show the red light but it does not show the Bluetooth on the autokit app or on my iphone any solutions for that.
If I install this, will it automatically start up every time I plug m android phone into it? I am using a Android head unit..

Does this give your head unit Android auto and apple carplay or does your head unit need to have it already and the dongle just makes things wireless?

Yes you have to open hotspot from your phone in order for all of this to work (note: u have to have an android screen that has navigation)
