Thanks for the video. Worked great! My son's bank card slid down into the console through the parking brake. This saved me the replacement card cost, and worse, giving him my card until the replacement arrived.
Thanks for the video. My driver license slid down beside the parking brake. Your video was great and 4 clips, 4 bolts a flashlight and a long set of tweezers I was back in business. Thank you as you saved me some potential expensive trips. It is appreciated.
Thanks! I had a problem with the center console keeping my Brake Park Shift Interlock Solenoid from releasing shifter out of park. Easy fix was removing and carefully reinstalling the center console. Couldn't have done it without you. 👍💯
Thank you! I was fixing something else and dropped the shifter lock screw down in there - now I have to go get it out. 🤦♂️ You have saved me a lot of time.
not a flat head screwdriver - totally scratched the plastic at the 0:38-0:42 mark. Recommend a plastic fishbone or panel puller tool. Thanks for the how-to!
Thanks for the video, gets me ideas, but to hard to watch shaky and quick moving camera... Will let others talk about the flat screwdriver panel scratch... 😁😁😁
I can’t get the smaller cable with the red locking mechanism apart. Is there another locking mechanism that I’m missing. Trying not to break it but it will not unplug
Good morning and happy New Year (22). You probably already figured out, it is similar to the screw/ bolt for the tail lights. It is a ten millimeter screw or use your Jeep tool; one of it's star lobe attachments should fit [if like tail light screw/ bolt].
The leather seating for my 4wd shifter wont come out snd im scared of ripping it (2021 jeep gladiator) i came to this vid because so far, me jeeps eaten 2-3 airpods and 1 credit card
@@GBR080R Might be hidden, but you will always know that it's there. At least I would. And yea, I was excited and really into the video and I saw that and cringed also. :)
Thanks for the video! My AmEX slid right down into the parking brake slot. You saved me a ton of frustration
Lol....here for the exact same reason. Spent 15 minutes searching under the seats trying to figure out where it went before I noticed that damn slot.
Lost a card down there myself. Reinstalled the center console over the fob and had to start over. 😂
Thank you! I dropped my card in the parking brake slot, just taking off the transfer case shifter cover helped me recover the card.

Thanks for the vid. Found my wife’s wedding band which had lodged under the console.

it’s quick and easy! **immediately scrapes the hell out of the plastic**
Hahahaha this made me laugh 😂

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. But maybe use a panel tool instead a screwdriver to pop those covers? ;)
Yea, I cringed when I saw him scratch the plastic.

Doing a frame swap thanks a lot!
Anyone know how to unplug the electrical connector with the red sliding tab under the passenger seat?
I have the same problem. Can’t get the small cable with the red locking mechanism apart. It feels like it’s glued together
@@thebeertank5597 any luck?

Do you know if I can swap out the console from the higher trim to my lower trim jl?

Any tips for getting the bolts out? I’ve tried forever and they’re so hard to get oit
I’m having so much trouble getting those out too. Did you figure out how to get them out?
@@tierneybrown4827 yes actually! had to use rust remover and then the right size of ratchet and socket (or whatever it’s called) 😅

I cringed too, but that's a very hidden spot
