so grateful for this video! I dropped my debit card and it fell in that tiny crevice by the e-break *insert sad face*. I watched this once and was able to take apart mine so I could lift up the console and fish it out. thank goodness jeeps were made to be taken apart
Thank you sooooo much. I dropped a sentimental charm down that rabbit hole between the emergency brake and seat. This video gives me the confidence to remove the console.
Thank you for making this video! I'm working on a blueprint for converting the center console to a pseude-bench seat and this was very descriptive and informative
Can't thank you enough for your video! I dropped 2 door access cards down the hole along the emergency brake and couldn't retrieve them. Tried tape on a knife, gum on a knife, and almost lost the gum in there! Took out the 4 bolts and the shifter covers and screws. I was able to lift the console enough to get the cards out at that point without unplugging stuff. That was the step that scared me so I glad to not have to do it! So great that you made a video to help me! Would have cost over $180.00 to have the dealer do it.
Thank you! I was worried because a marble fell in to the center console true the handbracke and i thought it would get jammed in there but after seeing the inside of yours center console i think it should be fine
Thank you! I dropped my Debit and Credit card into the abyss beside the emergency brake. I just need to know how to lift up the console. I have a stick and panicked about ruining something when changing gears 🙃
Nice video regarding this important component removal. Well done! One correction - the "flat head" screwdriver you refer to is actually called a "slotted head" screwdriver! Thanks again, for a great video!
Thanks a million. Especially for those critical tips. You are the best.

Thanks for this comment! I did the exact same thing and am looking for a video to try to retrieve my card.
Great video, thanks. My fiance dropped her debit card down there and well... this video helped to retrieve it.
Great video. Just what I was looking for. Thanks!!!
Thank you for doing this video☺
Absolutely!! Glad it helped you!
Thank you! I spent 2 hours trying to disconnect that little connector under the seat that has the red slider. I could not figure it out!
