That would be cool! Hit me up on instagram @hopheadbanger to plan something. Warning: our schedules are pretty crazy especially for the next couple months but definitely could do a homebrew swap in the meantime. I (Ben/Jacques) work at Albright Brewing Company on the weekdays so we could maybe meet up there.
l'accent français c'est incroyable! Had me literally laughing out loud! You guys epitomize the fun of homebrewing haha. I love that you guys did a split batch yeast experiment. I've been wanting to do something like that but been far too lazy. Also, it seems like you guys do step mashes quite frequently, do your feel that has made a significant difference in quality across the board or just for European styles? Keep up the good work!
I like to think step mashes add to both fermentability and head retention/mouthfeel. I'm sure there's an exbeeriment that shows no difference but our system is pretty much designed around no-sparge step mashes for all our European styles and often for IPAs too. It's pretty easy and the quality has been fantastic so why mess with a good thing?
Not to give away our great secret (I think I address it in another video) but all of our labels are just mock-ups. Semi gloss photo paper and I draw all the labels in Photoshop. Back in our blog days I would design a label and just post the image, but I prefer actually having a sample can/bottle for these videos and instagram. Our normal method of identification is colored bottlecaps.
My suspicion is that several of your beers are brewed on the same day. Which tells me that you guys are also changing costumes and themes for each. And god knows how you keep track of the shot list that I’m sure Ben puts together for each of these. These films (for that is the proper term for something this good) and the brews that accompany them, must take FOREVER to make.
Haha the trick is often we film the tastings of one beer after the brewings of another. Sometimes I remember to wear the same "costume" for the tastings and other times I just accidentally wear the same clothes often, just to fool the eagle eyed observer
Another great and entertaining vid guys, keep it up.
Magnifique!
Class
Uh ha hhaaa, Very nice! Seriously, keep it up guys. This channel and you guys are awesome. Love from Denmark!
Thanks for the support!
Hey just discovered you guys!! Love it. Live in Maryville, I homebrew as well. Call it Montgomery Ridge Homebrew. Would love to brew with you guys.

Jacques from Belgium's hydrometer cigarette holder was a nice touch 😂
It does add a certain... Je ne sais quoi.
Whoa I had no idea Jacques was Ben until the end
Twas a cunning disguise.
