Beer Recipe I've NEVER Brewed Before! - Brown Ale Grain to Glass!

    In this video I brew a new Brown Ale recipe, using a yeast I have never used before Omega Kolsch II OYL-044. I do a quick version of a step by step tutorial on the entire brew day from milling grains to pitching yeast, then end with a final tasting and my honest opinion of how it turned out!
    Brown Ale Recipe:
    Grains:
    Pilsner Malt 8.0 lbs. (65%)
    Caramel/Crystal 120L 1.0 lbs (8.1%)
    Victory Malt 1.0 lbs (8.1%)
    Munich Light - 10L 1.0 lbs (8.1%)
    Chocolate Malt 0.5 lbs. (4.1%)
    Flaked Oats 0.8 lbs. (6.5%)
    Mash Thickness 1.33
    Mash Temp: 152F
    Hops:
    Cluster 1 oz. 60 mins
    Willamette 1 oz. 5 mins
    Yeast:
    Omega - Kolsch II OYL-044 (1 liter Starter Optional)
    Expected Numbers:
    OG - 1.060 (Mine was 1.058)
    FG - 1.015 (Mine was 1.012)
    ABV 5.9% (Mine was 6.0%)
    SRM 25.7
    IBU 40.9
