God, this takes me back... My grandma only had this movie, and about two others, on VHS, so I watched this movie about fifty times despite being bored out of my mind. And YET, I didn't understand the part with the bird chirping until I watched your review! Wow...I didn't pay attention at all when I was a young one, did I? Anyway, thanks for an awesome review!
The dog went off to Hollywood to do stuntwork for Comet on Full House. Then after the show ended, she went on to do a few underground films she's...well, less than proud of. Don't judge, she needed the money!
At 3:07, the unseen director complimenting Hal on his commercial.... is Bill "Chop Top/Otis Firefly" Moseley himself. I knew he sounded familiar, and couldn't help looking it up, and now I feel weird in brain.
Okay, that sushi scene got a laugh out of me, but only because that's how I handle sticks as well I almost punched the screen when I saw that girl's dress at 11:08 though
Ever since 1970s live-action Disney comedies, that had been one of the basic plots you stick in when you've got some kind of high-concept kid-movie gimmick but no story to write around it. The other being "for some reason jewel thieves show up and there's a switched MacGuffin".
OH MY GOD I remember this! I liked this as a kid! what was wrong with me. I have incredibly fond memories of this. I've been trying to remember the title of this movie for years! All I could remember was small lizard creatures, golf and putty burgers. This is so weird.
Man, I used to watch all three of the Prehysteria movies on fucking repeat as a kid, along with tons of other Moonbeam classics like Beanstalk, Remote, Pet Shop, and Dragonworld. I also remember seeing ads for the Josh Kirby Time Warrior series, though I never got around to ever watching them because my local video stores never carried them. Great reviews Allison, and one hell of a nostalgia trip.
6:15 Not just 'gardening chemicals', but what looks an awful lot like a generic-brand prop version of a _lawn paint_ container. Lawn paint is one of my favourite 'I can't believe people do that' things; for anyone who is not already aware of its existence, look it up - it's like something from a Hanna-Barbera cartoon that's somehow found its way into real life.
Literally the only thing I remember about this movie is the heat rub down the pants and the girl laughing at him. I was a kid and I remember thinking that was so inappropriate hahaha
I actually watched some Moonbean Entertainment produced films in my childhood. The one I remember most is the one I borrowed from my local library multiple times, "Dragonworld"
I'm imaging the girl is in the same universe as bruce leeroy from last dragon. Each sequel i watched more. Sadly, i watched this more than i should have. Lol.
I remember at the most early age of my life like a baby or infant, idk how or why but I saw this movie but after a few years , the movie was lost or sold at a yard sale and like barely 19, 20 years, I had the most fattest brain fart known to man and then I did the most to find this and now seeing this, god do I wish I was a baby again
This is definitely the Prehysteria movie I saw the most, but I can't remember if we owned it or my brother and I would just rent it. Years later I got a good laugh when I finally realized the whole JFK reference
Grassy Gnoll! Have you seen the massive storm drain the car is coming up to just before Pres. Kennedy got the kill shot? As Bill Hicks pointed out: "Back, and to the left". Also Bill Hicks: " i went to the Texas Book Repository, it was really authentic. Oswald wasn't there".
im guessing her thing about Scottish things has to do with golf being of Scottish origins seeing they do the whole japanese gong noise and godzilla stuff for the asian man
It boggles my mind how often people pair golf with Scottish jokes, considering the vast majority of people have forgotten the link between these two things... which itself is odd considering tam o'shanters are still stereotypical golf wear...
How such a gorgeous gal like you get into all this ...cool corny movies....i love bad films too..My fav is Deadly Friend ..a early 80s horror film staring Kristy Swansea aka original Buffy
This movie had balls, you got to give them that.
BOOOO
...okay, that was kind funny.

RIP Fred Willard :(
this is the only Prehysteria I've seen. and I've probably seen it 30 times for no apparent reason. I remember all of this.
"This is more fun than a Sean Connery film festival." Hehehahahahaha. The movie is approved by me.
The dog went off to Hollywood to do stuntwork for Comet on Full House. Then after the show ended, she went on to do a few underground films she's...well, less than proud of. Don't judge, she needed the money!
Also was the extra in the Homeward Bound movies.
@@sparkymist Extra being code for nude double?
1:34 So you're saying there was no _raisin_ for it?
The Grey Poupon gag will never ever get old😂
Because every elementary school kid in the nineties was well versed in classic Star Trek.
You know what teenage girls are really into? 'Never Say Never Again'-era Sean Connery... ohhhhhh yeah!

is this just a generic 90's "save the small business from the greedy evil villain" plot with the prehysterias tacked on?

I am glad someone covered this
It's like this movie is focused on the human characters 90% than the dinosaurs. The dinos have no purpose at all.
This is the only one of the series I've seen. And yeah it's absurd esp. with the Japanese guy wanting to build a resort around a mini-golf course.
Your reactions are the best!

Och, does that even _count_ as attempting a Scottish accent?
13:59 This new Godzilla movie's kind of a let-down
Excellent movie

"Did they really need dinosaurs to open this gold course?" Clearly you don't know anything about golf.
“Classic!” 😆
I love me some mini-golf!
And Dinos 💕
My 8th grade drama teacher had the poster for this movie on the wall in her classroom
I remember these movies
Evil Caddy is The Reverse-Flash... That's out of it, lol.
i wonder if dinos are health risks... probably i guess.
aww they dragged poor fred willard into this?
I'm imaging the girl is in the same universe as bruce leeroy from last dragon.
Each sequel i watched more. Sadly, i watched this more than i should have. Lol.
charles please put 'em on DVD haven't seen 'em since I was a lil kid..
Just got the first two on blu ray really hoping this one also gets a blu ray release. As bad as it is the collection doesn't feel complete without it.
I only ever saw the first two. Try as I might I could never find number three.

I like 1 and 2 , 2 being my favorite but this one seems very different.
im guessing her thing about Scottish things has to do with golf being of Scottish origins seeing they do the whole japanese gong noise and godzilla stuff for the asian man
Gremlins 2 made a Marathon Man reference, so I guess they're just pulling everything from that franchise.
:)
love the hat Allison :)
Kids are crazy about golf, don't you know!
Prehystera reboot 2020 XD
13:03 It just devolved into a Dingo Pictures movie.
It boggles my mind how often people pair golf with Scottish jokes, considering the vast majority of people have forgotten the link between these two things... which itself is odd considering tam o'shanters are still stereotypical golf wear...
Barry must've fucked the timeline hard, Reverse Flash does not suit that caddy uniform.
Jesus, that "accent".
"Mini golf is boring" said no one of intelligence ever. Fact
I'm sorry, but mini-golf is awesome. Watching mini-golf, however, is so incredibly boring.
If she had had caught and cooked the Haggis, I would have been really impressed. They can be wiley wee beasties.
Then again, it's hardly Caddyshack.
I already commented, but fuck it! WAS THAT FRANCES URQUHART???
And Jim Hacker alongside him, yes.
These movies are cute.
2:16 is that what accent it was.
12:39 I don't get it what's marathon man
The little girl also did "Masters of Sex" and something about Zombie strippers. A real Hollyweird story I guess.
Lol 😹⛳🏌️♂️
14:01 I don't get it
I actually like Jurassic Park III, because of the Spinosaurus.
Cutest outfit ever and she likes old lady violence 🎉.
This is Quilliam (Jurassic park) slander, I shall take my views elsewhere, hur-rumph!
Hey Prehysteria! 3 is terrible 😞 sequel this was kind of like Jurassic Park and Caddyshack!
Well i pupon everything espically my kids lunches.
How such a gorgeous gal like you get into all this ...cool corny movies....i love bad films too..My fav is Deadly Friend ..a early 80s horror film staring Kristy Swansea aka original Buffy
I actually happen to think Jurassic Park III is pretty good, so there.
@Kel Rowland No, I watch it regularly with three other people.
Wow this maybe the worst movie I’ve seen reviewed. It’s so bad. Painfully bad dialogue no one talks like this!
anti-scotism on full display 👏👏👏
I believe Scotchman is the proper term.
