Please make more of these videos !!!!! I specially because I commute to school for 2 hrs total and I can listen to these awesome simple breakdowns in the car
Lots more coming for you. 2 hrs is a significant amount of time to utilize wisely. Let me know anytime you have a request for a video or specific topic. Thanks for watching!
The first minute of this video has been my thought process for more than 20 years. I don't know the last time I listened to the radio. I can hear when my car is sick or getting sick
Is there anyway you can start to do videos on the diseases that are listed in the book called “clinical manifestations and assessment of respiratory diseases 8th edition by Terry des jardins?” You explain and dumb it down to a point I can better grasps the concepts.
I’m right now draining fluid from an open incision that is colored tannish and a syrupy thickness. I’ve been doing this for approximately 2 months. My wife is taking care of wicking and redressing. Getting a little worried.
Person being treated for Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. Some pleural fluid from thorasentesis is light yellow, sometimes slightly red. Why would that occur ?
How will you know when the pleural effusion started to accumulate? I’m a patient who had a surgery and had chest tubes to drained my fluid around my right lung. The doctors keep saying I have tuberculosis so they made me stay in the hospital to get samples of sputum. But I had surgery where the fluid was drained. I don’t understand why would they asked for another sample of my sputum when they already collected it and biopsied it and confirmed that I have tuberculosis? I was supposed to be discharged 2 days ago, but here I am still in the hospital watching videos about this.
Hi Belle. I can't speak to your specific situation, but tuberculosis is one disease that must be ruled out with multiple sputum samples, while the pleural effusion is a secondary problem associated with TB. The fluid from the pleural effusion cannot be used to rule out TB. Hope this helps and hope you get better VERY soon!
@@RespiratoryCoach Hello, Doctor! Thanks for your response. My tb tests came back negative but they still gave me medications for tuberculosis. They said it quacks like duck, it flaps like duck but it’s not showing as a duck lol I’m also out of the hospital now. My lungs hurt whenever I cough. Could this be a complication from the surgery like pneumonia or it’s just sensitive right now? It’s been two weeks since my VATS.
