@@daleravic I agree, who doesn't enjoy just being in the company of funny people and he was still a major part of the show, even if it was mostly behind the board and behind the scenes. Should've been a dream job for life. Resentment is a bitch.
Sherrod was always a POOR choice to replace Patrice. Patrice had wit, had talent, had timing, had amazingly quick comebacks and put downs. Sherrod just agrees with Opie, and doesn't let people talk.
Sherrod laughs heartily at everyone's jokes, lets ant make racist jokes and say n word without making a fuss, and is black. He was perfect for this dogshit show to stumble to self destruction with. They're nothing without the long form exposure to great comedians
it was like 1:20 but when Vos asked Ant if he took it personal and Ant says NOOO i never take anything personal… its cuz he was used to Opie taking offense to shit n feeling like he had to apologize. Opie’s ego/jealousy/power trips ruined A LOT… if you’ve ever heard him scream HOLD ON HOLD ON HOLD ON like a man child you know what i mean
The network's execs would've regretted hiring Colin right away, Colin wouldn't have lasted 2 episodes before he started busting on those dumbass people on that horrible show.
I know this will get some sh*t, but the first 25 mins is a good example of what Opie brings to the table. No denying these guys are the funny, but without Opie to juxtapose against, and to be the 'not as funny' everyman kinda guy, and his ability to keep it moving, it just isn't as good, at least in my opinion. Let's see if it they get some better flow !!
I hate to say it but rich was right. “Euro” is the proper pronunciation of gyro. They all were giving him shit and they were wrong. I wish he had taken Jimmy’s bet cuz they would of googled it and rich could of shit on them all.
The name comes from the Greek γύρος (gyros, 'circle' or 'turn'), which is a calque of the Turkish döner, from dönmek, also meaning "turn".[10] It was originally called ντονέρ (pronounced [doˈner]) in Greece.[11] The word ντονέρ was criticized in mid-1970s Greece for being Turkish.[12] The word gyro or gyros was already in use in American English by at least 1970,[13] and along with γύρος in Greek, eventually came to replace doner kebab for the Greek version of the dish.[11] Some Greek restaurants in the US continued to use both doner kebab and gyros to refer to the same dish in the 1970s. pronunciation aside... it does really end up meaning to spin like GY-RO... tomato tomaaahhhto
This show SUCKED!! Why did they not read any top 10 lists or play silly news clips? Where were the contributions from Phil in Long Island or George from Little Rock?! This isn't RADIO!
I love when the whole show dissects everything Vos says! But that guy hangs in there every time. Gotta love that guy!
He’s like the opposite of Opie; can take shit like a toilet at a Texas steak house, but can’t dish it out.
"These two look like two dumb Yemeni cousins" - Colin Quinn about Ant and Vos 😂
Listen to how cheerful everyone sounds without Opie
It's weird how Opie hated not beimg the fumny guy. Yet he found Ant and Jim. He could have just sat back being paid millions and just enjoy.
Hold on, hold on! Are you sure they're happy? Let's check with Dave in Nebraska, Dave?
@Blaine The Train How so Opie found Jimmy and Ant said do we really need a third guy.

I love Vos. He has no problem taking on all three of them and laughing at himself. He has the "counter-punch"

36:15 I love when Chip references Opie 🤣🤣🤣
Colin is an absolute killer, don't know how the likes of Vos survived several decades of that maniac, chipping away at the fabric of your sanity.
Notice the unending laughter without dopie in the studio
Me reading the title of this vid: "No, you didn't"
that supports Patrice's theory that white entertainment think black entertainers are interchangeable. Ask Opie how that worked out
I was short on cash and wanted to see Vos. He gladly accepted a bag of frozen shrimp instead of a ticket
where they atlantic or specific
Vos = LEGEND.

Man imagine the chemistry if opie had been there with Sherrod. #missedopportunity

Vos is beautifully carpet bombing the studio for the first 30 minutes lol
Opie had the balls to say that Vos is awkward on the radio.
Colin, Anthony and Jim have all said vos is awkward in life, what is your point exactly?
@@Buckets50 I have to tell you... I have no idea what my point was last year when I posted this.
