This is a great fusion of Colin Quinn’s one man shows and Colin doing crowd work with one guy who’s just feeding him stories and Col gets to riff off them
I've heard CQ hates podcasts but this is obviously way better and a reason to WATCH on youtube lol! Love it! can't believe no other comic has thought to do it
Seriously, to pile on the love here RUclips team Colin... MORE OF THIS!!! I live on 7th st... watching this a 2nd time. Tremendous NYC content... all of them, but this one is personal! I started in Yorkville and ended up in the East Village, the historical reverse commute. Thanks for this Colin and literally MORE
Omg this was one of the best videos I’ve seen in a long time. Sergio always shines and to pair him with Quinn in their old neighborhood from their similar perspectives was like seeing jazz music come to life . Sounds like an odd couple but it’s really generations of the same person coming together to connect history . Wow I’m astonished how well this come together. I feel like there’s not a lot of combinations that could do this so well .
Omg Coli! Thanks so much for creating this! I am a nyer in California unfortunately and Im staoked to relive the streets with you and these amazing people. Absolutely love this underground history ❤❤❤❤
These Walks are great. As someone who has never been to New York it's great to see the city like this and not just the stuff in the films. Also listening to Colin talk about NY in the 70s and 80s is really interesting. Living Legend 👍👏
Another home run in the Block by Block with Colin Quinn series... I could watch these forever.. A testament to the brilliant simplicity of the series' formula.
Love going to New York and watching videos of people there, however these are brilliantly real. Love them. Please keep these going. Have been checking to see a new one since the last one!
Shout out from Winnipeg MB Canada! When you coming to Winnipeg? Ty for wearing clip on mics lol. This is entertaining and informative. Plus, fellas being fellas is freeing.
Love these keep em coming! Really an infinite amount of possibilities with guests and neighborhood’s. Even the same neighborhood with different guests could yield totally different perspectives!
I don't think anyone else is doing a series like this. Every eppisode I've heard so far has been entertaining and interesting. Hope you keep on doing it. 🔥
I Love Colin Quinn!! He is quintessentially funny and New York City. He was my favorite on MTV. He is my sarcasm role model. ❤️🤗 Enjoy the history talks too!
@@Syndr1 Yeah I know, I'm totally positive he is a bit of a bullshitter, but I love the guy for all his faults as well as for his many redeeming qualities. As long as you're discerning and aware of the nonsense when you hear it, it's harmless, and more often than not, hilarious. He's an absolute original, one-of-a-kind personality, there will never be another like him, and I happen to think there are others out there who are similar to you in their impressions of him who will even find themselves missing him when he's gone.
This series is an absolute treat Col, think you've stumbled onto something here. Edit: I used to live on the 2nd floor, 7th & Avenue C above the famous 'Sunburnt Cow' [Awesome Aussie bar, now departed] in 2007. What a year.
In my opinion, Mr. Quinn is up there with Pete Hamill in his documentation of 'old' NYC. I was drinking wirhthe guy who used own Rocky Sullivans many years ago, and he told me that Colin used to do security at the Ritz. My parents are from the Bronx and Queens...and met up in Inwood. They love his one man show about the history of New York.
This is some of the best work I’ve ever seen from Colin Quinn thanks for making these! It’s like being in a diner in NYC but the people aren’t completely crazy.

“The rent here is dirtbag expensive” is my new favorite phrase.

Dirt bag for sure

Colin Quinn is the quintessential Irish/American New Yorker. A Legend!

These walks are wonderful.
As someone who has only visited NYC for the tourist sites. I enjoy seeing these different places and hearing the stories. Keep it up.
I'm legit pissed off at how underrated the block by block series is, I could watch these all day. Feels like a different way of doing a pod
This
This is a great series but it will be incomplete until Joey Mothafuckin Diaz steps on the scene 😆👍💨
Colin is the best
Ah you just like that his head eclipses your giant noodle, Dan.
Crackle crackle

2 of the realest newyorkers going for a walk is MOMA-worthy
Chrissy Fatass owes a lot of his early style to this man right here. That and knowing how to throw a left hook...

This dude is underrated. So is Colin 😅
Chrissy Bitchtits was heavily influenced by Sergio in the early days. He needs to be buying this man a steak dinner monthly for life.
I’d love to see Colin give us a tour of his old cruising spots
