I heard your style of beats. I think I could kill it with you. Check out my content and songs and let me know what you think. I always check comments and new subs.
Great job dude!
🔥🔥🔥
Hey, great track and workflow. Can you tell me how you recorded the audio of the keys and bass into the mpc? Did you use direct recording? Thanks!
Hi and thanks for your great comment! I might remember this all wrong, but I think that I "sampled myself" using the basic sample record-function, since on the 5000 it's possible to sample while the sequence is playing. Had my wires hooked up the way I could sample sounds coming from the laptop. I never messed around with direct recording on the 5000.
@@smwhiphop Great, thanks! That was very helpful actually. Best!
@@HelderMusic107 No problem, always here to help. Have a great weekend!
akai were the shit, I heard some chinese comany bought them and they are crap now, shame
AYo, that was pretty good!!!
Whats the sample?
Dopeness bro!🙏🏾✊🏾🔥
👍🏾
Hey man, do you use the HD recording much? Is it worth buying for? Weighing up whetehr do get this machine over the 2500
I never used HD recording on this machine, so I can't really tell anything about it... I sold this 5000 a couple of weeks ago, just because it didn't fit to my setup anymore (5000 is huge!).
About 5000 vs 2500, I have owned a 2500 also. I would go for the 2500 (with JJOS), it can do pretty much everything that 5000 is capable of except built in synth and HD recording... Plus there are so many people out there rocking 2500s that if you run up into some issues, you'll find support quite easy!
@@smwhiphop The 5000 is a very different beast imho.I love it…takes a while to get your head around it and take advantage of the the sound ect.Sounds HUGE!!!!!!!!!
Very nice!
Fire right here!
Will you ever make a mpc 5000 walk through tutorial?
Well I haven't really thought about doing that kind of video :D If I remember right, there are some good clips about 5000 that cover many things up that this beast can do... Also watching tutorials for other mpcs will get you covered quite well, since workflow is almost the same on every model, especially when it comes down to making hip hop. Peace!
@@smwhiphop i mean you give a bettet example that's why i asked
Hey how do you sequence your sampled drum loops?
I don't sample any drum loops, I'm using one shot-samples from different drumkits... What comes to sequencing (if I understood your question right), I put kick-drum on track 1, snare on track 2, hi-hats on track 3 etc, so they are on separate channels and I can later on mix them individually after tracking out into my daw.
@@smwhiphop yeah i was asking about the drum loops but the other answer is cool though
I See Ya My Dude Good Work ... Gotta Love The 5000 and all the fx and synths in it ... I Know I Do ... #Mr.Timesx3 On The Beat
Thank you! Yeah 5000 is definitely an overlooked piece of gear! I havent been using that internal synth very much, I should dig into that!
@@smwhiphop yeah the synth sounds are pretty plan but strong... but when u start adding and playing with the effects on it they really sound pretty good ... it's worth a try and plus u paid for it so use it for all it's capabilities !!! Lol #Timesx3
