I loved Pink, Christina, and Brittany, but Ke$ha grabbed my heart and never let go. She paved the way for me falling in love with Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Troye Sivan. Other people tell me I’m to old to love music by them - sorry, music is timeless. My music ability rating is a negative number, but my appreciation for it rates a 10. How the hell long does her contract with Dr. Luke and Sony last? I cannot imagine working my ass off thereby making my accused rapist wealthy. That would be traumatic.
Kesha has two contracts with Dr. Luke, one with his production company KMI and one with his publishing company Prescription Songs (the former is for production of songs and the latter for writing of songs). The KMI contract initially was a six-album contract that has been reduced to just five albums in 2008. So Kesha needs to release one more album until the KMI contract ends. It's not clear though when the Prescription contract ends because it works differently from the KMI contract.

Other people tell me I’m to old to love music by them - sorry, music is timeless. My music ability rating is a negative number, but my appreciation for it rates a 10. No artist had ever hit me as hard as Ke$ha (two others have hit me just as hard since then). I consider music today to be the best music of my lifetime. Ke$ha grabbed my heart in seconds, has never let go, and opened up more spaces for other artists.
I can’t think of a single Kesha song that I don’t totally love. Her song that hits me the hardest is “Hymn.” A song telling people it’s ok to be yourself was needed in my life. I waited a lifetime for it and it’s a beautiful gift for today’s kids.

I’m not a Taylor Swift fan but what she did was pretty heartfelt. It was great that other celebrities spoke out publicly about #FreeKesha but Taylor Swift potentially helped support Kesha financially in terms of legal fees. I can understand if Taylor donated the money AND THEN started bragging on Twitter about how great of a person she was for doing it. How the hell long does her contract with Dr. Luke and Sony last? I cannot imagine working my ass off thereby making my accused rapist wealthy. That would be traumatic.
Kesha has two contracts with Dr. Luke, one with his production company KMI and one with his publishing company Prescription Songs (the former is for production of songs and the latter for writing of songs). The KMI contract initially was a six-album contract that has been reduced to just five albums in 2008. So Kesha needs to release one more album until the KMI contract ends. It's not clear though when the Prescription contract ends because it works differently from the KMI contract.
@@thomasrudiger2035 technically she should be released, Cannibal is labelled as an EP but has 9 tracks and a running time of 31 minutes, most albums these days have this length of runtime, but i'm sure she has been working on new music during the lockdowns, she could probably get another album out this year or early next year to fulfil that album contract.

I saw kesha last night in Oklahoma city!! It truly gives me goosebumps knowing how much shit, powerful shit, was dumped on her and she STILL SLAYS. Her baddass passionate spirit just radiates out of her and into the entire crowd. I've always loved her music, but over the years I've grown to love HER 💜
