  • It’s the end of another Low Fuel Motorsport season in Assetto Corsa Competizione, and it’s been a hugely successful one for me. I’ve picked up my first two ACC LFM race wins, and I’ve really improved since switching to the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.
Today, it’s time to finish the Go Setups GT3 Sprint series at the Red Bull Ring. I’ve only just got back from a week in Vienna, and today I’m going straight back to Austria the virtual way for this LFM ACC race.
But will it be as exciting as my actual trip? I was in Austria to see AC/DC at the Ernst Happel Stadion, and it was fantastic. Yeah… I couldn’t resist the video title and thumbnail!
I’m starting down in P13 for this one, and it’s safe to say it didn’t end up as I’d expected…
Make sure you never miss a race! Hit that 'Subscribe' button and be the first to know whenever I'm racing. If you've enjoyed this LFM Assetto Corsa Competizione gameplay video, please do leave a like - it really helps the channel! Thank you all for watching.

You are a moral race driver and i love that.
You also got a great voice for narrating a race as well.
Your content is much more interesting then sweaty try hards that always think they are doing hit laps.
    Keep going son 🫡

I've been watching your videos on ACC for a while now and it really got me back into the game/sim.
I've learnt to race entirely differently and now barely grab the wheel for anything else! It's just so much more challenging but enjoyable.
I kept hearing about LFM but found out it's not available for console, so have joined a similar league/service in XCL. Two races in and it's an absolute game changer!
Just here to say: thanks mate!

Brilliant! Great to hear you’ve found a platform to help you get the most out of the sim. It makes such a difference. I doubt I’d ever touch ACC without LFM, but now it’s usually my go-to sim. Good luck!

Great video Mr. Rogers! I absolutely love the way you look to take responsibility for every incident! Even when a wreck isn't our 'fault' it's good to look at what we may have done to avoid it in the future. Being right doesn't keep our car out of the fence.

    • @chrisrogerssimracing

Exactly! Even when a crash isn’t your fault, you can pretty much guarantee that there’s something you can find from it, to learn from and help keep you safer if a similar thing happens in the future 👍

That race took Big Balls Chris!! The wreck wasn't your fault in my view. Gap was there, you had to Shoot to Thrill, and there's no way he could've got back to the inside. Red Bull Ring can be a Highway to Hell sometimes. Good to have you Back in Black!!

Yeah, I’ve been trying to work out whether he would have saved it or not. I’m not sure he would have either, without going onto the grass. Once I’d seen the replay, it did ease my guilt a little bit 🤣

Yeah, sometimes you just touch too much, but to be fair, sometimes it feels like you are driving on black ice and these races are as dangerous as a live wire but it is good to see you back in business and driving on the razor's edge but not breaking the rules. (ACDC songs are pretty suitable for driving puns...)

Like so much your streams, Chris. This one was those ones in which responsability is not 100% on one of the drivers. The gap was there. The thing is why it was (the other guy lost the car), so it was predictable that ending. The matter is being aware of that in the heat of fight.

    • @chrisrogerssimracing

@@chrisrogerssimracing that's what i said too, he was angry for you after his own mistake. One of the reasons why i quit lfm, even in top split races there were so many guys who used too low TC values that they can't handle for even 25 minutes, and they always killed themselves right in front of me. This happened at least 10 times out of my 61 ranked races there, and of course none of them wrote at least a "Sorry!" after they ruined my race. Yeah, I was 100% anticipating that the gap was there, due to him being forced out wider. At the time, I couldn’t see the oversteer from the cockpit so felt it was 100% on me. But the replays did help to ease my guilt a little bit, when I saw his spin, and the angle his car was facing before the contact. Cheers Gavin, yeah I actually got a message back from the guy earlier. He said he’d picked up damage so was struggling to control it. Said he was actually trying to leave me space to go through, but the car had other ideas!

Not to be beating around the bush, but that Ferrari was a real problem child. He was trying to walk all over you.

I think you're being way too hard on yourself. He was going to lose it rather you were there or not.

Ahh thanks man. Yeah, at the time I was convinced it was 100% on me, but when I saw the replay it became clear he was fighting to save a spin… which explained why the gap disappeared more quickly than I’d expected it to!
