Somewhere in your matches you said you were trying to learn "ming" (sp) where you're calm and undeterred through punches etc and now watching this, it's exactly what Yodkunpon embodies!
Ning* - นิ่ง :)
Your commentary and enthusiasm and translation make these so much better to watch love it great upload great fight
That was so much fun! Crazy fight. I have ZERO idea how someone could eat so many knees and still be standing!
Drewb18c1 Thats MuayThai😆
It's like bodybuilding/gaining muscle. If, for example, you could bench 25kg and did sets/reps for a week or two, the next time you'd be able to bench 30kg's. Same with this. In practice, sparring or proper fights, you'll take as many knees as you can handle. And again overtime that number will build up. You'll become tougher, more resilient/used to them. It goes the same for strenghtening your shin. The repetition of blows, blocks, checks to your shins will hurt greatly when starting, but as time passes your nerves will begin to deaden, lessening the pain, and the microfractures you recieve will repair with stronger, fresher, thicker bone. Like most things, it just comes down to practice and repetition; painful practice and repetition!! >XD
But as Baileigh said, That's Muay Thai for you!! :D
I don't know if you're willing to do this Sylvie but if you are you would be perfect for The Joe Rogan podcast
I totally agree he would be glad to have her on.
@@jonklause5130 I think so too
yeah wiykd be good
She is just great..she makes muay thai all enjoyable..
Those blender comments were hilarious! 😂
Man..no words for the relentless punishment these guys can take!
The kicks and knees from blue trunks were great
This is my favorite fight now, and you commentary just made it so much better. Im so happy I found this channel.
Love watching your posts both on RUclips and Instagram. You've given me the bug to get back on to muay thai 🥊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Re-watching this again and every time I'm always amazed by Namtaotong!!Anybody know much about about him? Really curious about this guy who was taking it to the legendary elbow hunter.
My thoughts exactly. The sheer amount of golden era's great fighters is unbelievable.
There are some 50+ year old truckers, businessmen and fruit sellers in Thailand that used to be straight up beasts, like this guy.
Can't sleep. Let's watch some muay thai. Epic fight
Muay Thai is one of those combat sports where extremely low weight classes are more fun to watch than heavier ones
OdinMMA I think MMA is better at 170-145
@@OdinMMA yeah man, like for example mike tyson in muay thai in thailand would be almost impossible to get famous like he does in america's boxing
Namtaotong, Yodkhunpun...you are the two greats of Muay Thai...
Epic ending!!!! And with great hair! 👊🏼 love these watch with me
I must say: after quite some time this video, the commentary, the fight itself and the laughs made me feel good about watching sport again.
I started muay thai in September 2020 here in Sardinia, and I'm looking forward to compete, and to visit Thailand. Your story and your passion about Muay Thai are a font of inspiration. Thanks a lot, and keep up the excellent content ❤️
that last elbow. I'm surprised Namtaotong held up.
I don't know what was more entertaining: the fight itself or your commentary. Your enthousiasm and expert commentary is amazing.
You are my top Muay Thai page 😊 and I’m sure so many others too. Thanks for keeping it fun and showing us so many epic skills from the best! God bless! 🙏 OSS!

Such an awesome video, so informative with your commentary :)
ยินดี ที่ได้รู้จักครับ
Haha you keep being reminded to mention who you're talking about :P. Great video.
Yodkhunpon means elite warrior in Thai.
Cooool... It's like seat your couch and watch with good Friends an anthologic fight.... Tks !
Really enjoyed that
I swear I heard the Guile theme song in the background during the TV break between 3 and 4...
you're doing an amazing job
these guys are monsters, the amount of hits they take from elbows, knees, i would buckle in an instant, and even most fighters thses days would. jesus the thais are just out of this world
Can you make a vid on how they score points and judge fights
Tony Myers gave this seminar, it's a good place to start bit.ly.com/13T759R
Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu - Muay Thai thank you
I just don't know why Namtaotong, his style is quite similar to Nong O...
I love this. Reminds me of Bad Rutten commentating his own fights
Namtaothong knees are dangerous and sharf but Yodkhinpol can stand those and in 2 final rounds Namtaothong is exhausted so it is the chance of Yodkhinpol to go on grinding him on the long run..! Strength in Muaythai is very important too..but you have to strong weapons too to win..if we know that we win..we will soften fighting..not hurt opponents anymore in general...it depends on opponents also! This is a true gentleman professional Thai boxer. We are not that cruel or ruthless.
good stuff! crazy fight!
Luvdit LuvU2 Sylvie💚💛frm AuStRaLiA
The elbow hunter is an enigma of man.
How is it possible that they still stand, thousands of knees and that last elbow though
Both where really good
Beautiful
I'm not too familiar with muay thai rules, so can someone explain why, after losing round 4, blue has to "stay in for a while before he can pull away"? Does backing up get you penalized to the degree that even if you're the one connecting with more strikes, it won't score you enough points?
Superhuman fighters. I don't know how they take so much punishment and keep going. Conditioning beyond what most believe is possible.
Every time I watch Dieselnoi knee the bag or demo a knee on my trainer, I wonder how anyone survived fighting him. He looks like he'd destroy anything NOW, at 58 years old... imagine him at 23!
@@8limbsUs I agree.. your videos are superb! Keep going strong..
i want a tshirt with the image of yodkunpon smiling after that big elbow at the end at about 13:30
that was great
Hi Sylvie , are you still in Thailand?
chins of iron, stomachs of steel.
balls of diamond
They said 5 cent(centimeter).
Love u vdo
Hmmmmm I thought Namtaotong had the win by split..but that some of the differences in Thai scoring especially how the Thais look at a fight in its entirety kind of like an epic story. Hey Sylvie have ypu thought of doing a watch with me on Sakmongkol vs Jongsanan Fairtex?Maybe the third fight (I believe it's known as the elbow fight.) I could be wrong after all I believe they fought like 5 times.lol Maybe some Coban Lookchaomaisetong. Champuekpet Hopalang would be interesting as he is one of the most decorates Thai fighter of all time and I think either teacher or camp senior to Dieselnoi.
Thanks for the recommendations. The "Elbow Fight" kind of a too famous fight :) hahaha. I'm trying to find fights that may raise awareness more. But Coban or Champuekpet are good ideas!
Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu - Muay Thai Yeah I wasn't sure about what the criteria was figured I'd give something famous and then some great fighters who people might not be fully aware of.Doing some searching after my comment I learned Chamuekpet fought Oley so that's on my list to watch and probably gonna find some Kongnapa fights as well.Oh and I just remembered I was gonna watch Jadeepitak use that dragon leg...ahhh dammit see what you've started Sylvie I'm gunna be up all night now.lol Thanks for the love you show with your replies and tact Sylvie. Its always cool when I get a reply from you.
That's fantastic. That's what I'm really hoping, that these great legendary fighters fights will start to be watched more, and their styles and muay more appreciated. If you watch a fight you think I'd really like send me the link :)
Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu - Muay Thai Hey Sylvie been on a binge of fights again binging some Chatchai Paiseetong, found two great fights he had with Lamnamoon Sor Sumalee. Great fights, the first one i saw was a shorter one with some impressive moments by Chatchai then I found a second fight which actually happened two years prior between them and is way more competitive,so I think it would make better viewing.
Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu - Muay Thai Here's the shorter fight ruclips.net/video/IbpkFCBwBrE/видео.html
Silvie what is the meaning of liebloy
cleary finished.
thats pretty awesome!
Elbows and knees:* get thrown *
Muay thai practicioners : *OIIIIIIIIIIIIII* !!!!!!!!
What a fight. 👌
How these guys don’t drop after a couple knees is beyond me

Capoeiratics excellent display of timing.
300 rodillas 100 codazos y el tio está ahí como si hubiera ido a por el pan 😂,buen video 👍👍

What a zombie. I wonder if his style of fighting would win a match against present muay thai fighters ??!! And I think there are only handful of women in this world, probably the only couple who watch muay thai fights, giggling and laughing like kids. So funny hahaha !!
Authentic Max they are golden age fighters....i dont think any modern muay fighters can beat the aggresiveness, brutality and high technical skill of golden age fighter (except for few names like Saenchai, Namsaknoi, Buakaw)..
have a look at a guy called Muangthai .... exactly the same unrelenting style ..
I don’t understand how the red won this fight. Blue won four out of five rounds.
Nope.. He loss. The first and second round is for warm up so it doesn't count. Blue face expression in the last round say it's all, he receive more then causing damage
@@auushowkaze disagree even in the last round he was kneeing and teeping effectively. This was favoritism if it wasn’t for reputation you wouldn’t win off a single elbow and that was the entire basis. However the fact that blue let him sit and smile about it did look bad. But I didn’t score a single round for red, red struggled to get damage was stunned stiffLed and throw Only to score one volley of knees and an elbow. Eating every still made him look helpless even walking forward and then when he stopped walking forward it really made the mask slip. This was favoritism blue won, he out struck him and out strategized him, he failed to really heart red but that was the one saving grace of keeping such a relentless pace is that he couldn’t load up but if you just total up the significant moments in the fight even round per round blue wins. And that elbow at the end didn’t even phase blue. Blue won hands down, I think Sylvia is too much of a fan and a student to rule against him.
Namtaotong r v good until Yod wear him down with superd fitness and relentless knee.
lool what a fight!
Silvie🤫🤫
"what this guy's name?" "nammgjfhgkj knkngk" "oh nvm"
Lol, we'll call him Blue
พรานศอก ร้อยเข็ม
I see some buakaw in the elbow hunter
