Congratulations Adama! That’s an amazing score, you can be so proud of yourself! I'm so glad I could help. I'd love to ask you a few questions about your experience. If you are interested in that, please drop me an email at contacting.juva@gmail.com . I'd love to hear from you :)
Hi Juva! I found your videos while scrolling on RUclips and I must say you're doing a great job. With your assistance I'm able to score 25 in TOEFL writing section. Really grateful to you! Thank you so much :)
Really waited for your video Juva. You are doing great work. Your videos are really helpful. However, I think you can create strategic contents based on the types of questions in the reading section. Cheers! Waiting to see more from you soon.
I have a doubt about writing section. I have seen that many people start their paragraphs with the speakers arguments and then they introduce what it is mentioned in the reading, however, for me is much more easier like you did, first state what the writing says and then oppose the idea with the speaker argument. Do you know if there is any difference in the score or it is the same which one you introduce first? The questions usually says summarize the lecture... so i dont know if the order will affect. Thanks for all your help you are amazing Juva :)
I'm so glad you like it 😀. That's a great question! It makes sense to introduce the argument in the reading first and then mention the counterargument from the lecture because the question usually asks you how the lecturer casts doubt on the points made in the reading. I hope this helps!
Hi Juva, thank you for all the great advise. Please tell your audience that they need to focus on the question. If the question is to summarise the lecture, they need to address the lecturer argument First then the author's claims. I wrote the test twice and scored exactly the same with the templates. I realised that I made a crucial mistake somewhere and the above mentioned was it. Thank you again.
Hi Shahab, you don't have to indent the paragraphs if you leave a blank line between the paragraphs. I did it exactly like that in TOEFL Writing and I scored 30/30.
Juva, thanks for the videos, but I have a question!!! I understand that in the independent writing task we should write more than 300 words, because they just say that 300 is the minimum. But we should we write more on the integrated task too? They usually say a range of words, am I allowed to write more than that? How much do you recommend writing on the integrated task? Pleaaaase answer my comment, I'm dying not knowing this.
I'm so glad you like the videos 😀. In TOEFL Integrated Writing you must write as least as many words as the word count states. You can write more, that's fine. I wrote more than the minimum word count and I scored 30/30 in TOEFL Writing. However, you must answer the question precisely and ensure that your essay is concise. Therefore, you shouldn't write too much.
Hello juva, it’s me again😊. Will the writing section starts automatically as soon as the speaking section ends. Or, I get to click on the start button? Because I can get sometime to take notes such as linking words for my writing section.
I CAN NOT understand one thing, Reading passage and lecture are opposite always. my question is , (The lecture cast doubt on the main point ) is there any possibility to come in exam ( that passage cast doubt ). ? is it fixed always lecturer has to doubt ??? I need to careful or blindly write to follow the template ( the lecture cast doubt), no possibility to come passage where author from reading passage has doubt ??
Wow, congratulation to your hard work. I am going to pass exam after three month what is your suggestion to me. My english is intermediate. How can i make my english better to get a 100+ score?

Hi Ines, I'm so glad you like the channel :). So great that you are going to take the TOEFL, you can do it! In the integrated writing task you don't need to write a conclusion. Hope this helps :).
Hey Juva, the video is awesome, yet I have a question. Clearly, time is limited to read passages and to listen to records. Thus, I thought paraphrasing when writing essays would be easier. Why do you think paraphrasing when noting down is better than doing it later? Thx in advance :),,
Hey Oğuzhan, if you paraphrase when taking notes, you make sure that you actually paraphrase in your essay. Otherwise, you may forget to do it. That's why I paraphrase when taking notes.
Hello Java, I would be thankful if you can explain me the other types of questions in the integrated task of writing section. That is a problem passage question, three problems question and a lecture in support of article question. If possible can you please do a similar video for all of them. Not to forget that your videos are wonderfully explained and so here I am, asking you a favor.😊
@@juva Will the writing section starts automatically as soon as the speaking section ends. Or, I get to click on the start button? Because I can get sometime to take notes such as linking words for my writing section.
Question, if the directions state that I should write 150-225 words; is it okay for me to write more that that or do I have to always stay between those numbers?
That's an excellent question! The word count given in the TOEFL is a minimum requirement, so you can write more. Actually, I recommend writing a bit more than the word count because this shows TOEFL that you are able to write longer essays. I wrote more in my TOEFL and I scored 30/30 in TOEFL Writing.
I assume that it may be the TOEFL, however, I'd recommend contacting the relevant institution where you need to submit your certificate and asking them what they accept since this may differ. Hope this helps :)
The article and the lecture both deals with the voting system in the United States of America. Whilst the author thinks that computerized voting system has more advantages than the traditional system of voting for three specific reasons, The lecturer opposes the author's claims. In his opinion, the traditional system is more reliable than computerized system. First, the writer claims that traditional way of voting has plenty of errors occurred during the past elections. Furthermore, it is stated in the article that computers used in the elections are way easier to use and you can increase the font size of the names during voting. In contrast, the professor argues that many of the voters are not familiarized with the new voting system. Additionally, he maintains that most voters cast a wrong vote and deterred repeating their votes during elections. Second, the author mentions that in the traditional counting of votes, humans are responsible for mistakes. On top of that, it can lead to a lengthy process of recounting the votes which is very expensive, Consequently, with computerized system the votes are automatically counted. However, the professor calls this argument into question by saying that computers are prone to errors because it is made by humans. Moreover, he remarks that if error occurs during the elections, the situation will be much worse. Finally, the writer asserts that computerized system disadvantages are very slim. In addition to that, it is mentioned in the passage that people put their faith when using advance technology in everyday life. As opposed by the author, the professor holds that computers are improved over the years. He highlights that voting is a rare event and it does not suffice.
Hi Juva. After reading for 3 minutes and listening the lecture, will I be able to see again the reading passage while I write my response? (For TOEFL Home Edition). Thank you.
Hi Juva, I have a question, is it wrong if I wrote more words than 150 to 225? because in the instructions it is said that those words are the effective response. Hope you could answer me
In the integrated essay you should write at least 280-300 words. However, don't worry, the minimum word count will be stated when you take your TOEFL test.
