What is the Quran?

The Holy Quran is the Holy Book for Muslims sent from God, Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) via the Angel Gabriel. It is therefore believed to be the direct revealed word of God. The Quran is a law book, contains moral lessons, stories of the prophets, and prophecies of the future. It is a complete guidance, and according to Muslims, the last law to be sent. The Quran, like all other holy books, is respected in Islam.
