Omg. I made a cutsy softer pallet “brand” cause I thought 1. That’s the Etsy aesthetic and 2. All the first 5 listings that aren’t paid follow that. Then my designs didn’t align because I tried to brand as everything I don’t resonate with. They’ve already carved out that space. It’s time to step into me and attract my tribe. I understand to be successful, you have to be in demand but there has to be a group of people like what I’d bring to the table, I just have to show up as my authentic brand. I guess I just needed permission to feel ok showing up as me. Thank you for this video ❤

I crochet and believe me it is so hard to get noticed! For 10 years I have done OOAK and they are so hard to sell! I am switching over to doing basic items that I can make a lot of and trying to create best selling listings. I hope it works. 🙏
OOAK is hard to sell when you're not known. As boring as it might be, make items that are selling well, as you said "Best Sellers", so you can get noticed and people get to know your work. Also find out what colors are in style. You need to sell what the public wants to buy.

Thank you for sharing your wealth of info with us. I am a BRAND new shop on Etsy (first listing in January) and am diving in... hard, with your SEO toolbox at the moment. I do have a question or two for you:
- Keywords & Tags- should you include the singular and plural version of each? Bag vs Bags
- Should you include different spellings and versions of the same thing in title and tags: T-Shirt, Shirt, Tee, Tees, Tshirts, etc? Does this matter?
- Do you have a video on 'how to' use the main features of erank?
Again thank you for all your insight. I look forward to next week's gem of wisdom.
- Keywords & Tags: Etsy identifies plurals/singulars as the same word, so no need to use both.
- Should you include different spellings: Only if they are VASTLY different. In your T-Shirt example, in theory, Etsy should be able to tell that these are all the same (but it's totally fine to experiment and go with whichever term you see the best results from!)
- 'How to' use the main features of erank: Yes! All of the videos in the Etsy SEO'oodles Toolbox cover what I feel are the most essential eRank features (Keyword Tool, Rank Checker), but I have tons of eRank videos on my channel for some of the other tools. You can find them by going to my channel home page and searching "eRank" from the smaller channel search bar under my banner. 💛

There's nothing inherently wrong with any of the banners I shared (to be clear, all were "made up" and were not taken from any real shops), but it goes to show how often banners can look very similar without us even realizing it. Especially when utilizing common templates.

Trying to figure out what my clients like is challenging. I have asked all of my buyers what they would like to see in my shop, have gotten a few suggestions, but they are like "football keys". Doable, but not salable.

Hi,im using canva for my design,how can i make the design to look like a real colour on shirt mockups? When i pasted the design on printful mockups its look brighter...
You can attempt to increase the saturation of the image mock-ups using a basic photo editor but if the colors vary too much from the design, this may be an issue you'll want to reach out to your POD company directly about.

Bella canvas. They are very soft and a much better fit than the cheap Gildan tees that most companies print on. 🙂

Do you have a successful Etsy store? Can you post it so that I may take a look?
I actually run several shops, redbubble stores, and even a stand-alone website - but I do not share any of my business links on RUclips, as this would absolutely destroy my conversion rates and my ability to run organic keyword experiments and testing at eRank, where I am a manager - as my shop would mainly be full of people looking in order to "see what I'm up to", as opposed to shopping. I have been selling on Etsy through various shops for over 10 years though!
recommend any etsy spreadsheet to keep track of sales and COGS?
I haven't personally used them but I hear great things about the Etsy spreadsheets from Paper and Spark. 🙂

And I'm sure someone else already made the same. I'm watching a lot of bloggers about... lol passive income, and they often making the same topics video as others in 24-48 hours timeframe
Again, it's purely coincidental. I don't really have the time to follow any other channels with such intense scrutiny. Much too busy planning my own content. Though I do know several channels that jump on the topics I personally cover right after I've covered them. Either way, there's nothing wrong with anything you've stated. Sometimes you need to hear topics explained in different ways in order to retain the information being taught. My teaching style may not click with everyone who watches my videos.
RUclips is a big wide world. There's room for everyone. I just personally choose to stay in my own lane by creating videos based on questions my own subscribers ask me, as opposed to fishing from other people's channels. I have enough great topics submitted by my community to last a lifetime. 🙂

PS if you are able to add timestamps in your videos, it will be very good idea - life is short, sometimes you have no time to view all 30-60minutes videos from all interesting channels.
I have checked nearly 10+ channels about etsy/POD and your channel one of the most interesting
All of my videos have time stamps already. You can find them at the bottom of my video descriptions, as well as on the playbar (chapters).
I do not timestamp my 2 hour live streams, as this would require me to sit and re-watch the entire stream right after ending it. I sign off for the weekend when we finish the Friday Bean, so this is unfortunately not something I have the time to do.
