If it can be uselful to someone, I use decathlon's long sleeve merino at the gym, I'd say I'm a 4/10 smelly person. At the end of the workout my longsleeve is as wet as if I dipped in the pool or was out in the rain. I found that I get 3-4 uses before it starts smelling, which is enough for me. I usually hang it to dry on a doorknob at home until I go back the next day.
Here’s the real question. People kept saying you don’t need to wash after every use…fine…how do you store it? Especially with merino wool underwear and socks. I can’t imagine putting them together with unused clothing.

I’ve noticed that it’s always better to size up with merino. Specifically unbound. Have you experienced the same?
Honestly I wished I sized down one size for the hoodie. I recently purchased a t-shirt and polo and went for a medium over a large and it fits much better. If you like loose then go up a size.
I usually wear a medium in most things, the suggested v shirt in large was to loose for me. Swapping it for the medium. And the medium hoodie fit perfectly.
What about deodorants or antiperspirant usage and underarm smells? Nobody talks about that.
I of course use deodorant but it does an excellent job wicking away sweat and odor. I did a sniff test before wearing it again
@@AssembledStyle what I meant was the stains from deodorant and antiperspirant can hold stink and is a pain to wash out. Also during the test did you shower every day before wearing, or go a couple days without showering? I ask because say you are camping or hiking without access to washing up for a few days? Stink can set into the fabric, especially with synthetics, and can never be removed. Merino does better for sure.

use crystal deodorant. They don’t leave any residue.
You sprayed the shirt heavily with fragrance before loaning it to a friend? Blech! The major benefit of natural wool clothing is that it’s non-toxic.
lol yea I thought I would freshen it up a bit because I felt maybe I got olfactory fatigue and it probably did project some smell after never going through the wash. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case.
