Welcome to Ultimate Survival Gear! Today I have this Keen work boots review for you guys! Here is the Amazon link:
KEEN Utility Pittsburgh Steel Toe Work Boot - amzn.to/2ZZxCG7
Keen official website: Pittsburgh 6" Waterproof Boot (Steel Toe) - alnk.to/3J1kMMG
So, why work boots in our Ultimate Survival Boots section? Well, the amount of the protection this boots offer... Here are some stats:
100% Nubuck Leather
Imported
Rubber sole
Shaft measures approximately mid-calf from arch
Locking metal lace hooks
Removable metatomical dual density eva footbed
Dual density compression molded Eva and PU midsole
Left and Right asymmetrical steel toes
Overall, I really like these boots. I think, so far, these are the most comfortable work boots that I have ever tried, probably thanks to that metatomical footbed design.
The only big think that I wanted to point out here is that because of all the protection that these boots offer, they are on the heavy side. The weight of the boots a little over 4 pounds! Yes, that's pretty heavy for the footwear.
On the plus side, these are waterproof work boots. Also, Keen boots, so far, has been good to me. I have reviewed several pairs, and so far, all of them were of great quality and well built.
So, what do you guys think about these Keen Pittsburgh boots? Would you consider them for work? Would you consider them for your survival situations? Let me know in the comments below! As always, thanks for watching!

Thank you for your review...been in the market for work boots for hubby and I've seen several youtube reviews from you. They are all insightful with a personal test that most reviews DONT do.....(why review with tag on?!). Picked my boot off of your review. Keep it going!!!!
I've got the Keen Pittsburg in a soft toe. They are VERY comfortable and I didn't find them to be heavy at all.
I purchased these today, 3 months after foot surgery. They feel great on my foot. Very supportive. Today it'll be 10 below zero
so, how are these in cold ? I am looking to buy a pair
they last 6 months in a granite shed. But they feel so good on your feet.
Can you do a Keen Redhook review please.
Keen boots fit great but the lace lugs are a poor design. All of my lugs have either pulled out of the leather or those cloth straps have broke. What is wrong with the traditional eye loop design?
Any plans on doing a review on the Altra lone peak height?
I done one Altra before, it is still on my Firearms of America channel. Is it the model that you are talking about?
@@UltimateSurvivalGear I believe that’s the previous version (lone peak 4). I think you’ll like the look of the newest one. It’s got that foliage green/gray look. Curious what you think of it
@@Mel-md6cb Nice! I will definitely add it to my to-do list! I really liked the Lone Peak 4!
Have a pair on the way. Wearing timberland pros and keen revel IV. The timbs are very heavy but they're a work boot with a composite toe and a plate in the soles. The revel IV are the lightest boot and most comfortable shoe I've had on my feet. They're hiking boots though but I work in them if there's not all kinds of shit to step on and penetrate my foot. If I'm in place like that I wear my timberland pros. If you hike cooler weather the revel 4 is incredible. And they don't make my feet hot or sweaty in warmer weather so...
My suggestion start leg day..I'm serious
Thanks for the suggestion!
I enjoy your video. But if you have strong legs. Absolutely no problem.
I have a safety toe I don't think they are heavy.. you must have weaker legs....nice info though...
Are they heavy?
Not really
Depends what your threshold of heavy is. Being a 6” WP steel toe work boot, imo NO, not at all. I’ve had a lot of experience with this particular boot(soft toe also) and they are the best work boots I’ve ever worn! Being heavy can also be kind of overshadowed by how extremely comfortable and flexible they are, if that makes sense. Example being this boot vs the Timberland Pit Boss, whereas the timberlands are quite clunky and not near as comfortable, therefore can seem very heavy, especially as the hours stack up. I’ve worn all of the traditional brands of work boot(wolverine, Thorogood, CAT, Danner, Georgia, Timberland etc etc..) and the Keen Pittsburgh specifically, is easily the most pleasant to wear for 10 hours! Although they subjectively may not be the most durable. Depends what you do. They can also get a bit warm, but not as much as some. Hope this helps anyone.
yes
No.
спасибо за обзор,надолго таких хватает,смотрю обувь и выбираю между этими и асоло ,подскажи )
