Just got these today and like them so far. Very comfortable.

Yes but there’s one thing you can count the days down on once you start wearing these or ANY Keen work boot and that’s the sole being waterproof. You will wear down the top layer on the tread according to your gate and scraping them as you walk.
For the last four years I’ve bought only Keen and within less than a year I will wear a hole in the sole and they absorb water and my socks get wet. Wish I could send you my worn boots so you could fix this issue, this happens to everyone that I know who owns Keen work boots that are waterproof.

Sorry to hear that. What type of work do you do and what styles have you been wearing?

@@KEENUtility I have worn the Keen Utility Detroit XT Mid Waterproof Steel Toe for the three years and bought a new pair once a year, I then switched to the Keen Utility Lansing Mid Steel Toe this year and in 8 months same thing, worn soles and leaks.
I do commercial HVAC for a living and I’m a service manager, I don’t punish these boots and have actually recommended Keen to all my guys and the same thing has happened to them.
I LOVE the comfort and really want to continue purchasing your boots but man I need something that will keep me dry for at least a year.
      You gotta help me out.

Do you offer any warranty for the problem op described here?, I just bought a pair of these boot because they are water proof, i would hate to see this boot ruined in less than a year

I've been wearing Keen for over 10 years. As soon as I switched to American Made Keens this has been my experience also. I get about 8 months out of them before the sole wears and turns into a sponge. Pretty ridiculous for the price.

@@reath1231 It is a real problem. I watch the weather and on rainy days I wear my merrell hiking boots that are waterproof.
Surly Keen knows this is a major defect.

I'm a fan of the Portland version of the Keen Flex Utility line, but you guys gotta get your sizes back in stock! My size has been out of stock for a while now. Also, regarding this Troy version, my main gripe would be the yellow accents. I gotta have all black boots so if I ever considered these I would paint them over, I'm spatially aware enough of where my feet are I don't highlights on my shoes. Lastly, as everyone keeps mentioning, MAKE MORE DURABLE OUTSOLES. Switch to vibram, find a new supplier, I dunno what you gotta do but listen to your customer feedback and make outsoles that last long.

We hear ya! It's been a tough year with supply chain and global shipping delays... Most retail businesses have been severely affected. Trust us, we are doing our best to get all the sizes ad styles back in stock but it will take some time.. :(

Mine flex weird. Where the lace eyelets are it flexes down but in-between it flexes up forming a crease.

Sorry to hear that, Shaun. You might want to return them and get another pair.
