Wolverines are probably the only boot i would say are worth the money. Saying that these multi-shox will loose slip resistance over time and will be like a slip n slid once you wear through the material on the sole. Love the boots for outside work but not for warehouses or situations where you are on smooth concrete all the time. Get you some red wing boots with supersole 2.0 and you will be much better off at just alittle bit more expensive!

I made the mistake of buying thermal work boots they were awesome during winter but ss soon as warmer weather was upon us they were unbearable. So are superb 4 months or so of the year but not so much the other 8

Yeah it's only good to have thermal boots up far north or far south. Anywhere else normal boots are fine.

      How so?

@@tyguy070 , I am a self-appointed expert on the quality and durability of work boots. I am about 18 years into the salvage, deconstruction and demolition trade which I consider the ultimate test of work boots. I have tried virtually every boot out there including every single one on this particular list. Most boots only last me about 6 months on average. Cheaper boots like Caterpillar, Carhartt etc. ($100 - $150 relatively) get destroyed in the first 3 months or so, so I gave up on those a long time ago. I've tried all high end "work" models of each brand too (like the Timberland Pro, Keen Utility etc.), and they all fail for mainly the same reason..... the STITCHING! So, that being said, I want to say from a vast amount of experience, I have personally found that Ariat Work boots (approx. $200 retail) is the most long-lasting boot I have found that will survive the onslaught of my work for about a year if I'm lucky. Their stitching seems to hold up the best and will also fail at some point but I have learned to be an amateur cobbler of sorts for boots that are worthy. Maybe the boots on this list don't necessarily "suck", but they do from my perspective.
