Can you guys create a video on how to get started on race tracks with the bikes? The essentials, pre requisite, discipline and other things which not everyone knows?
Let's take a moment to appreciate for bringing out such a amazing review of the monster and dont forget that you are a monster too bro keep rocking ❤❤🤘🤘😻
Shumi, I upgraded from a KTM 390 to a Speed Twin in 2020. And if you had an option for a single vehicle that can do it all, the Triumph gets my vote for everyday use in a city like Mumbai and the occasional tours. Have never ridden a monster, but I think I’ll be visiting Ducati soon to see if you’re right about the Monster being the perfect bike that does it all. Would be interesting to see you compare the monster with the triumph. I know a round headlight when I see one, that also creates a bias towards everything old school. Hence I’ll keep a watch out for a proper comparison of these two, considering both are available to buy now in India. We’re spoilt for choice.
Can someone explain the Varese-Bologna reference? I'm really curious. All I know about the reference is that Varese build Ducati's were made in the Cagiva factory for a while because there was a fire in Ducati Bologna factory. The Varese units are said to be built slightly better. I don't think this is anywhere close to the reference though. Can someone help?
The ducati monster was one of the great bikes in the middle weight segment. The new one is the same, the design looks so gorgeous 😍 that hard to call it a monster 😄. From some Angel it looks like an MV😅only some Angels. Its looks modern with oval shaped LED headlamp with big DRL. Rest of the body work looks compact but superb. Also the monster has gone in terms the engine performance, electronic aids, features as well and as always quality levels are great to. Overall the new monster is exciting package in its class. The review video was awesome guys, the monster looks superb in the track. Please Do a comparison between monster and its competition.
I believe the DPs at PD gets high on creativity every time they are at BIC 😝 Never fails to amaze with great visuals. And about the monster, naah I don't miss the trellis frame because of the beautiful updated design 😍
@@powerdriftofficial Thank you guys!! But yall are too kind! Its just the love for the Motorcycles and cars that make it for me! And yall are just too good at bringing the best reviews and content to us! Absolutely love it!
I think this time Ducati has become slightly Economical...I started to notice it when the 2021 Ducati Multistrada V4 didn't get desmodromic valves, I've always thought of “desmo” valves as being pure Ducati - they have been a core feature of Ducati motorcycles for decades. So initially it was one of the biggest changes to move away from Desmodromic valve actuation to make it slightly cheap in certain markets. Anyway, it's nice that now more people will afford a Ducati, and it is a good idea
Dear Shumi, fr someone upgrading to a big bike club, what should one chose,, monster or street triple R, almost at same price point, what w'd u like to suggest...
As usual the editing and the transitions are top notch, the Bgm and the videography takes the whole video to next level POWER DRIFT will set a bench mark in no time for all other reviewers around the world The effort that goes into making one video can't be expressed and kudos to all the team members for making the bike even more attractive and makes me to buy one
This does not look like the beefy monster that It was known for. Everything on this bike is modern, purposeful and likeable, somehow the looks are polarising. It just looks like an elder version of Revolt RV400 now.
@@sumankumarmehta1342 I was eyeing it. Not for near future but surely eyeing it as an upgrade. 2nd hand markets would still have the old one to offer tho 😌
Monster is dead, period. They have literally removed what makes monster and brought this what ever we call it. They could have released this with someother name and everyone whole have been happy
Will you guys review the supersport 950s? Ive been saving up for the past 4 years and finally i would be buying that on the occasion of new year, hoping i get to see a review from you guys before i make the purchase decision 🙂.
Shumi ❤️ brilliant as always... Just one question though is it value for money? There was a statement that if one is upgrading from 390 to a bigger bike they can go to this monster and only service intervals were discussed and not everything to maintain pls let us know that as well.
It is value for money if it makes you happy. Period. And the only way to find that out is to test ride. Test ride everything in the segment you can. That will give you a better idea of how those motorcycles perform and how you feel.
No one bought Calvin Klein or Armani thinking it’s value for money, bro. My thumb rule for all big bikes is about ₹70k-₹1l annually for service, tyres, insurance etc
This bike must have really created some impressed on Shumi, because for the first time he has contradicted himself Earlier in the podcast he mentioned from a 390 which has 44 bhp you should upgrade to something which 80~ bhp.
First time? No no, come on. I'm not that good. But there's no contradiction to me -- 80bhp is a figure that represents a kind of motorcycle riding feeling. The Monster is insane because it feels that kinds of natural and easy despite having 30bhp extra!

Ducati may not want to dilute their brand value with a rather affordable motorcycle. Also, that would need Ducati to develop the motorcycle from scratch, which can easily take a better part of a decade and involves a lot of development costs.
@@powerdriftofficial true that ! Simplicity, seamlessness and effortless upgrades should be the norm as electric vehicles are anyways going to make it heck a lot more easier 😀
