Those Miller Lite commercials were awesome. I was friends with John Mackey’s kids, and we took beers out of his garage multiple times.

Bubba Smith was one of my favorite players as a kid; and probably the largest, most physically imposing man I've met in person, when he toured with Butkus and the other lite beer all-stars in the 1980s. Great player and a nice guy.

Don't let this distract you from the the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.

Bubba Smith, when alive, never held back his belief that Super Bowl III was rigged.
