Same. I feel I went from high school to college to being an old man reminiscing about the good days. Life flew past in the blink of an eye. Was I waiting for someone or something to show me the way?
As a long time fan of The Floyd, and having watched many attempt their music, I can safely say it is not easy to play their stuff, especially songs like this. But they rocked it.
This whole show is on my channel. Also, here is my all-time favorite School of Rock cover of a Pink Floyd song: ruclips.net/video/QOBRSkPi-TM/видео.html
It's incredible the dedication of these kids to play this difficult one.... They played it so fantastic... The keyboard boy is amazing... It is so hard playing music and dancing or jumping at the same time.. Congratulations from the south of this world.... Chile
Please dont ever stop this academy. This music raised two of the greatest generations in the greatest country ever on Earth. Young people need to understand the roots of where most music these days came from. Loved this. Thanks
I don't get why people criticize these kids, they were 16/17 at most and they played a song made by artists who've mastered their instruments. They did a great job
It's like amazing that these kids can do what they can do my 14-year-old grandson loves Pink Floyd and it's people like him that will keep them memorialized for all time. You guys rock
This kind of reminds me of when I was in the school band. In 1965, I did a solo of Little brown jug. The song was 21 years old. I thought it was ancient history. I'm a boomer. I think the boomers grew up with the greatest explosion of music in the history of mankind. Dark side of the moon is about 50 years old. The music still kicks ass. I'm so happy to see kids playing this music.
Incredible fun to watch theese kind of videos of talented youths covering my favourite music pieces. I have been playing guitar for 30 years and i still suck at it:) but i will never stop loving music. Rock on!
As someone who has seen Pink Floyd play this (and many songs) live, as well as seen a number of very good Floyd tribute bands do this song, I will admit that this was just so so. But who cares. This is a tough song and Floyd's sound is sooo iconic. I echo (pun intended) all the comments about how great it is to see young people keeping this music, real music, alive. Bravo!!
A really great performance, I loved the keyboard player and drummer really going for it. It’s really uplifting too see people of this generation appreciate and performing classic music.
Good on ya Kids.... always and I mean always remember this is Music and not that other shit your peers are listening to... bring Pink Floyd to a new generation and hope is still alive and well... God Bless
It’s really nice to see these kids of today playing these great songs that I grew up on. Songs like this by Floyd had to take a lot of work so makes me think that there’s hope for the younger generation after all. Lol!!!😎🇺🇸✌️
School of Rock gives what young musicians most need - a place to practice, a time to practice, young people to practice with and most importantly... cool adults to teach them.
Being in a void of live music this is awesome to find these gems I don't know if I even want to go out where they perform now until covid-19 is contained I'd like to see bands play at the state fairs I like those venues
this is aweome. i'm 55 and absolutely nothing like this existed when i was a teen and even well into my 30's equipment was very expensive and not all over the place like it is now (if you went cheap you sounded cheap unless you got real lucky). and even just finding a place to jam could be a complete nightmare. glad to see thangs have changed i imagine my earlier life could've been alot less miserable if this sorda thang was available then.
You are so right! The things the _School of Rock_ provides are what young musicians most need - a place to practice, a time to practice, other musicians to practice with and really cool teachers to both teach and inspire them. Every teacher I've met at the _School of Rock_ is a working musician. And of course, modern manufacturing techniques have made even cheap instruments decent and reliable.
The fact that these kids love Floyd is enough for me, respect to all of them, fantastic.

before this, did any knew of PF? Very spirited rendition... nice... good drums..
"Then one day you find - ten years have got behind you". Make that 60!
Every day I wonder where 50 years went, I can relate...

No matter how it sounds, as long they keep this music Alive!!!
Just the fact that they covered Pink Floyd. Awesome!
It was part of a whole Pink Floyd show.
I don't get why people criticize these kids, they were 16/17 at most and they played a song made by artists who've mastered their instruments. They did a great job
That's how my Russian children aged 12-13 play it ruclips.net/video/0oTsKxlTjLY/видео.html
I agree 👍🏻 bro! Even covering Pink Floyd's no. is n't easy ,bro! Atleast we should appreciate for their efforts putting into this rendition.
These kids are kicking some serious azz here. Keeping the great music alive!

This is by FAR the best School of Rock cover of Pink Floyd!!! I LOVE it, Jimmy Diskin in a Pink Floyd afficianado!!!
Beautiful! Very well done IMO. So happy to see rock is not dead yet. These kids are an inspiration.
It's like amazing that these kids can do what they can do my 14-year-old grandson loves Pink Floyd and it's people like him that will keep them memorialized for all time. You guys rock
Jimmy Diskin is the spark plug of this team! He lives and breathes Pink!!!

An amazing performance. Not often you see youth taking on such a difficult song.
The kids done great job please more
Bravo!!! Real people playing real music. Love the selection.

Good job. I love their appreciation for music of my era. Timeless masterpiece!

I'm 70 and and from the Zeppelin.... I hope these young folks got a lable.... props to their schools music program
Clams and all, a GREAT performance! I love a raw, live band kicking ass and bringing it!
A beautiful rendition.
While I have found many SoR performances hit-and-miss, in this case they captured this very complicated song, perfectly.
You don't play a song like time without a drummer keeping
Well done grasshopper
***Big shoes to fill and you all did it awesomely!!! Thanks for this! :)

The whole show is on this channel. It was exceptional.
Well done absolutely amazing performance By all thank you for keeping these classics alive
Damn! This has made me a believer in School Of Rock.
Pretty awesome for kids that were probably conceived to this music...maybe that why they nailed it, cause they heard it a thousand times.
Don't know why I haven't seen this before but I loved it. Daddy says rock on baby...😎
That keyboard player will be a Senator one day
he can dream.nothing bad
Oh, I think (and hope) he will aspire to something more beneficial than that! 😁
Great job ! Wish this was available when I was a youth . Love there spin ❤

fantastic. I can play Time too- on my stereo. These kids did a great job! of course it is not like the original, but nobody would expect that.
Awesome rendition of a floyd classic! School of rock really does what it says on the tin!

Outstanding cover of pink Floyd, time
"And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking, racing around to come up behind you again."

Think about it. Kids like Pink Floyd. seriously. And they killed it.

I hope this horrible period ends as soon as possible because music can't live without young people on the stages and I can't live without music
Es una gran satisfacción que estos chicos hagan música que agrada, mucho mas de mi época. sigan adelante.
After watching Have a Cigar from a young group in Garwood NJ, it's good to hear this song being played from here.
