    This cake is beautiful. I have tried stenciling but it seems smudged and most of it never sticks to the cake ,if it doesn’t come out smudge or if it comes off at all! Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

      Absolutely, we use buttercream for wedding cakes very often, you just need to structure it very well and ensure the venue is cool before delivery!

    I love this video but pls ma..about the chilling,what of hot weather conditions and if the cake is going far? Is there no alternative to chilling?

      thank you, i deliver cold in an air conditioned car and will not deliver if location is more than 1hr from me, you can also consider early morning deliver for buttercream cakes going very far.

      It will not if you work in an air conditioned room

      You should refrigerate to firm up the body of the cake quickly

      I have an active paid online class on it, let me know if you are interested or you can always use SMBC or IMBC it works fine for this technique.

    Thank you so much. I tried the top forward design. It came out great. But the cake layers started seperating as the buttercream dried up showing where I sandwiched the two cake layers. I used buttercream to fill. Please Ma'am what should I have done differently 😔

      American buttecream. Butter 25% shortening 25%, icing sugar 50%

      @@chinwemadu3841 I tried it again and it stood for several hours before I delivered . I used kebab sticks to secure the cake layers before turning. I hope this helps

      Absolutely not! If you must use fillings in fondant, it has to either be as stable as buttercream or the cakes will be ganached!
