    Very good: take care not to flood with solvent as the image can spread/smudge. And follow safety instructions on the bottle.

    Hello, and 1000 thanks for the video. It is being quite a while since I want to put small letters and draws on a zamac part of an object. So please could you tell me if I can use the letters on an ordinary piece of paper, and print it by putting it on the zamac part? Thank you in advance.

      What kind of ink is this? Just a normal inky fine tip pen?
      If so surely it could work with colours just maybe they aren't as vibrant as black will always be?
      It's essentially creating a stain I would think 🤔

    • @jrfranklin8059
      @jrfranklin8059  Год назад +1

      The ink comes of the paper when the nail polish is applied. The drawing is done digitally and then printed of. For best results drawing using a vector software will transfer better lines.

    I wonder why acetone can transfer ink from paper to metal, but the ink on the paper is not glue

    • @yodan00b
      @yodan00b Год назад +3

      the "ink" used in laser-jet printers is called toner and it is more of a plastic powder that is fused to the surface of the paper with a laser, the acetone reacts with the toner in a way that sort of chemically melts it and allows it to adhere to the metal surface and loosen it's grip on the acetone wet paper
