Please bring back the how to make every nba team not suck series
Hes good now so you know the magic arent going to keep him
Living in Orlando, watching Mario play sometimes in these past years has been mostly painful, if you watched him on a day to day basis you would see why he was a borderline bust
He's averaging like 18 points in february while playing power forward despite being a natural shooting guard which is pretty impressive
a plenty of no, wrong
As a Magic fan, declining Hezonjas option was stupid even when he was trash, because they should've kept him under team control in case he improved (which he has). The only "pro" of declining his option was saving the $5.2m he would've been owed in his 4th year. Now he has improved AND he'll be unrestricted AND the Magic can only offer $5.2m because of league rules about declining team options.
I'll admit that I've always been a Mario supporter but this isn't bias. It was a decision that looked bad at the time and looks even worse now. Hope he re-signs but I doubt he will.
iReece4498 I feel bro
Magic doing Magicy things
+iReece4498 The Magic are *really* starting to turn into the Kings of the East.
The magic traded away Oladipo, Sabonis, Tobias Harris, Ibaka, Payton and Moe Harkless, who are all rotation level players at least, and all they got back were Terrence Ross and 2nd round picks.
Also they signed the great Biyombo to 17 million a year.
Joshua Yan the magic are one of the poorest run franchises in the NBA... Watch them trade Hezonja for a bag of corn chips
All of those players are glad to be out from under the Magic organization.
Joshua Yan they also traded Shabazz Napier
Lrod Shrek yeah but...he’s destined to have this slightly above average backup season be his best
And the rapters had a chance of picking him but instead they took a horse :p
Horyzon horse>
Horyzon look at how well they are playing with that horse
GAME OF ZONES
+A H game of zones dude its a bleacher report nba parody chill
Horyzon no they didnt
The Orlando Magic are the Sacramento Kings of the East.
He never was a bust just on a odd team
RaiXVortex But he sucked anyway
RaiXVortex He was though. He was just shite. He did nothing well for 2 years. That's bad.
Arse Blaster he got no pt
Nobody can do well on the Magic...
RaiXVortex yeah. I’m a Orlando fan and I know that Hezonja is one of if not our best players in my eyes. Just not in the right situation
The Magic can only offer him $5.2m MAX due to league rules about declining team options.
Also, Shelvin Mack only has $1m guaranteed next year.
RIP Magic fans
I feel like players such as Hezonja are the main reason why good teams stay good and bad teams stay bad {the Elfrid Payton trade is another example of this}; in a few years, Hezonja could be a starting-caliber wingman. If Orlando isn't smart enough to resign him (which they aren't), then he could be a very reliable asset for a contending team, such as the spurs.
I see him as a great 3-and-D player (ex. Evan Fournier).
Fournier is a solid player but not great.
That's the point that I'm making: Hezonja could be very solid for a contending team.
Elfrid Payton isn't that good
San Antonio should sign Hezonja and maybe go for Julius Randle to get younger and better.
maksimum018 Randle doesn’t make sense for them
The spurs would probably turn him into a all-star
@King Ham In the long term he does, LA can play maybe 2 years more and that would give Randle time to learn the system and come of the bench and play a lot of minutes, maybe they can even play together. Spurs can't keep finding gems in the draft all the time and it's a perfect opportunity to get younger without giving up anything also it shows Kawaii that he has someone younger to play with.
Everyone knows the Magic suck at developing their players. They haven't been close to the playoffs yet they continued to not play this kid so he could develop
Don't worry everybody they'll trade him by next year
youtube profile he's a free agent this summer so he might not be there next season
The magic can only offer as much as his rookie option was
Magic are the worst franchise trade victor oladipo and sabonis for serge ibaka to make a playoff run which was dumb as hell magic should fire there gm and there owner should just sell the team
GM been fired. Go do your homework kid.
Hezonja also has a bit of a clutch gene which is nice for the Magic
PG: Trae Young/Collin Sexton
SG: Hezonja
SF: Isaac
PF: Gordon
C: Some player from 2019 Draft
6th man: Fournier
Nikola Jakovljevic Sexton is so overrated
King Ham facts
King Ham trae young is overrated, the next fredette
FB 25 King Ham... I disagree with both y'all... Sexton and Young are gonna be good PGs!
!Mack-Hezonja-Porter Jr-Gordon-Isaac!
Since the magic are ok with overpaying ineffective players then they should have no issue giving Hezonja what he wants in order to keep him in Orlando. If he continues to be the way he is now, that is.
meetyface i don’t think they can offer him that much money
I want the Memphis Grizzlies to trade their draft pick and Chandler Parsons to Orlando for Aaron Gordon and Mario Hezonjia and Shelvin Mack.
But the most they can offer is 5.2mil since they declined his team option
Ross JP nah. You wild. AG is untouchable for the time being. Much respect to Chandler but it ain’t worth AG no matter what comes packaged with him. Just my opinion
GodsNightwolf27 yeah. I didn’t realize it till later. But as much as we can give should be given if that’s what it takes to keep him.
What's wrong about vucevic and you don't even mention him, before his injury he was playing very good averaging almost a double double.
Jim Gk he's good offensively but for a center he's awful defensively
yeah but at least it's better than putting gordon or isaac on a role that they aren't fitted to
Ryan Collins Statistically, he's not been awful this year. He's smart and knows where to be but he's just so damn slow and unathletic.
He's Ryan Anderson level in the sense that he can be a productive and valuable offensive piece but he is beyond a negative on the defensive side. If you're not careful with your rotations when he's on the floor, you're gonna end up hemorrhaging points
That's a mith. Vucevic is an average defender. Don't know where people get this from.
7 mil for a good bench player isn’t all that bad
Who was that one dislike?!😡
5 straight 20 point games
Can't wait for the Magic to trade him for a second round pick
How long have I been saying this?
MARIO HEZONJA FOR MVP
IVE BEEN SAYING HEZONJA IS A GOAT FOR 2 years
and you like all turkey like to duck a goats ?
It's sad to see Biyombo fall offfrom his great playoffs with Toronto!!! Mario Herzonja is playing like the Euro-Kobe recently!! I wish Orlando would play Terrence Ross more!!
Do u really have diabetes?
Hezonja was always good but dump americans haven't given minutes if they did he would be a much better player now...
You forgot about Johnathan Isaac he can play power forward while Gordon moves to center and Mario plays small forward
The best move Hezonja is to go to the Miami Heat be THE guy off the bench
These are just empty stats he’s just on a trash team. See what happened to MCW
I would love to see Hezonja on the Spurs🤔
Hi FunkyDiabetic, Can you make a video about Detroit Pistons salary cap, potential players they could sign and also their current young players Luke Kennard, Stanley Johnson? And possible future coach besides SVG. Thanks
Maybe use clips of his play in real life that relate with what you talk about. I only stumbled upon your channel/videos and it’s hard for me stick around when your videos are lazily put together. Let’s just throw on 2k clips and talk about my opinion! Come on man. Smfh
Sixers could use a player like Hezonja...I wanted him here out of the draft, tbh....
Declining the team option was more for a courtesy to Hezonja rather than the Magic not really seeing anything in him. I'm sure they did, but with Ross and Simmons at the 3, Gordon and Isaac at the 4, it seemed pretty packed at Forward. It's now more for Hezonja's decision of whether or not he wants to stay for the max of ~5M per year.
Bra u do really good vids ey, but this one is kinda weird ey. Like u said Orlando knocked him bak on his team option, so he'll b a free agent, well enough said, he's clearly playing for a check, well that's wat I think anaway, either either, ya do mad vids n know ya shit. peace.

The Magic had very good rotational to solid borderline star players in their team the last few years and was literally an all star level player away from really competing in the East. Plus all the players they traded away were young. Their front office has been inept and it's a shame that they are not competing in the East now.
My Dallas can trade him for like Powell and 2nd rounder. I wouldnt be suprised if Magic take that offer lol.
It's called chance he has been given a good chance no basketball player is a bust until especially if there not given a good chance players who flat out suck or underwealming are busts over a matter of at least 5 years hezonia is young and didn't get given much chance
The magic are the best NBA player development team, for the league.
Odd that he came into the league as a shooting guard and now he's having success as a power forward
Player gets good on exit doors of Orlando, in other news water is wet and Vogel still sucks
He has spoken out that he loves orlando, I hope we can get him to stay. But it won’t be easy
I can’t wait until the kings give him a giant contract and the magic don’t match.
Thanks to you I was able to pick him up in my fantasy league!
Dennis smith and Jaren Jackson would be a great fit.
funky u is mad boolin lmfaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Was he ever bad or just never got the time needed to develop on the court ?
i believe they cant offer more then 5 mil even if they want to...
You have become my go to YT channel for NBA!
They should trade him to the Indiana Pacers.
Send him to the Knicks for a 2nd round pick
The Neta should try sign him
I think Hezonja would be great for the Hawks, and this isn't my Bias speaking. Atlanta has been an absolute monster when it comes to developing Wings with Carroll and THJ being good enough to command big money, Korver being a instant bucket for the Cavs, Bazemore being a two way monster and Prince on the rise, He could really strive there on a team that wants youth.
Almost there funky 100k
I love your narrating voice
Issac is 230 now
Game of zones gang
Hezonja the goat
Almost 100k
Almost 100k
