    Being a diehard laker fan and watching every game this season, Ingram is most definitely our best player. I’m surprised you forgot to mention we had him playing the point a few times when Lonzo was out. He’s a very underrated playmaker. I don’t think he has necessarily a “weakness” in his game. The only thing he needs to improve to be all star level is his consistency. Which will improve with time and confidence.

    B.I just need more weight and consistent 3pt shooting he good already, hes already good playmaker, crazy how some of laker fans think Kuzma is better than B.I lmao

    • @braxton9192
      @braxton9192 6 лет назад +5

      Kuzma has All-Star potential but Ingram always had that superstar potential... it just all depends on how patient the lakers are with developing him...

    • @alexzuniga6558
      @alexzuniga6558 6 лет назад +3

      PRIME INGRAM yea kuzma has potential to be a good player but brandon has that superstar potential because of his length with his arms and height so it makes him better on defense than kuzma all he needs is a consistent 3 and to be an 80% free throw shooter and hes basically a superstar point blank

    I feel like Brandon Ingram is going to develop into a taller Paul George around 22 points a game around 7 rebounds around 5 assists with some solid defense

Now having listened to you for almost a year, I’ve learned a lot watching your videos. Lmao only retards would ruin a potential dynasty for a shot at the playoffs? For what? Tbh i hope Magic ruins this lakers team because it just means they dont deserve the insane amount of young talent. Instead of looking for the next Kobe in FA, look for them from one of the young guys.

      Grant Moore, I don't know man. I mean they are good players but it seems no matter how many top picks the Lakers get they are still pretty bottom tier in the league. I think an addition of a superstar is honestly the only way you could ever get to the contender level. Also I am definitely not saying this because I am a Mavs fan and we need Randle or anything like that. Definitely not.

    All of you Lakers Fan saying Brandon Ingram is going to be at best the second option on a Championship team, y'all better pray that the Lakers get or draft that First option type of player on our team because it sure as hell won't be Lonzo Ball or Julius Randle, maybe Kuzma but highly doubt it. Brandon Ingram is amazing for a second year player that doesn't even have an NBA ready body. The kid can literally do it all and has shown the ability to rapidly improve.

    Good vid but I disagree, for a 2nd year player he’s putting up future stuper star numbers, easily 26+ ppg

  • @trynano1
    @trynano1 6 лет назад

    I think he becomes a superstar in a Rick Barry type of way. Long, point forward who can dominate in the mid-range area and also play defense (contests shots, gets steals, and blocks) and get rebounds. I also think he would have to become one of the best finishers in the league and tighten up his handles. Obviously, need to be a good 3 pt shooter in the modern era and put on weight (which might unlock some athletic potential for him).

  • @R.B.90
    @R.B.90 6 лет назад

    An issue i have with the NBA is they decide who the star players are and stick with them no matter what and tend to overrate thier accomplishments for confirmstion bias. For example is John Wall really better than lillard or demar or do we just believe that because he had more hype as a number 1 pick. Another example is love n griffin getting more hype than Marc Gasol even though hes had a more productive career. What im saying is as long as Ingram isnt terrible people will talk about him like hes a star because we already decided he is.

    Ingram is 6'10-6'11 now, and he has a crazy vertical. He has more of a vert than Giannis, Giannis just has more muscle and therefore strength behind his movements. Ingram can jump like Nance, he'll be in the dunk contest eventually. Plus he can shoot but he doesn't want to be selfish. With increased confidence he'll be shooting like Durant one day, at least close to it. I'm from Seattle so I watched Durant's entire Rookie season. His game wasn't so developed either. Ingram actually has better ball handling and defense than Durant did his rookie year. Durant was on a worse team and had more of a green light to go try different iso plays so he developed on a personal level a bit faster than Ingram has.

    • @TheChurchofCacti
      @TheChurchofCacti 6 лет назад

      His size, speed, agility, ball handling, and vert almost guarantee he'll be an Elite player within a couple more seasons.

  • @trevorhernandez9381
    @trevorhernandez9381 6 лет назад

    I could see him putting up 25 6 5 1.5s 1b on 50% and 40% in his prime, it just depends on who is coaching and who he’s playing with. If he was given more shots he could easily put up 20+ a night right now. I see his potential (god forgive me, in 2k) realistically being around 88-91, he can become an absolute superstar (94-95) but it isn’t likely. He is already a really good iso scorer, as his mid and inside shots improve he is going to become a BIG problem for other teams. I see his 3 ball % staying the same or improving and him slowly working in more attempts, it will not fall back to league average as he ages. He could also become an elite defender, if he is able to put on that extra weight he could guard the 1-4 quite effectively. Dude has a bright future

    I admit I was very negative on Ingram during draft and first year.. and it was mostly because he has such a dumb facial expression all the time, which is superficial and means nothing but it just threw me off. He is actually a high IQ player and from what I read he has a good worth ethic. I think he will be a star, but it will take him another 2-3 years. His biggest potential is a secondary playmaker. I think his passing/IQ can be on par with Green's. And he should be a better scorer. So, he could be quite special - maybe a Scottie Pippen version?

    Jamal Murray is better than him and no one talks about him. Less shots, more points, higher percentages, better ball handling (rip Steven adams), top 10 foul shooter already (90.3%), as good at finishing (floaters, scoop shots, mid-close jumpshots), same ages
    Deceptively good athlete, realistically develop into decent defender

      I’m just going off last time I checked the stats but even then Jamal is like the 5th option on his team (Jokic, millsap, Barton and Harris) are ahead of him in the offensive pecking order. Jamal and Brandon should at least get way more even recognition especially since their stats are similar and the nuggets are winning

      Aside from Jamal having a TERRiBLE start to the season when millsap got injured his stats went up to about 18-20 points mide 40s for 3.
