If you have shapes that touch the edge of the small square you need to have the left over shape that is off the edge of the square on the exact opposite side of the square. This will create a truly seamless pattern. Otherwise you can stay away from the edges of the small square and have a good pattern as well.

im looking function to create vector pattern and fill shape with this pattern. Is there only option ctrl+c ctrl+v ? Where is define pattern, then select and fill ? any advice ?

Okay, update! I figured it out. I was creating elements on artboard instead of symbol rectangle. Had to specifically pick that layer from the layer panel
