Seymour Railway Heritage Centre T378 and C501

  • On Saturday 13 December 2003, the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre held an event for supporters of the acquisition and restoration of loco C501.
    The first shot shows N473 and its Shepparton bound train departing, then T378 pulling S303 out into the sun in the SRHC depot. The attention then turns to the turntable area, and T378 towing C501 out of the shed, followed by SRHC's ex Toll shunting tractor positioning the loco on to the turntable. Finally, a hand held shot of three NRs on a Sydney bound service is included

    C501 looked to be in really bad shape. The SRHC got together and restored and repaired the old VR C Class and now she wears her original VR Blue and Gold. She's preserved and operational. C501 looked way different back then.

    that was scary of the shape of the "C"!!glad that was 2003.

    A60 sitting at the SRHC turntable all the way back in 2003. If that isn't some creepy foreshadowing for what was to happen to A60 17 years later, then I don't know what is
