Just in case you weren't aware. Disney bought Maker Studio's for nearly a billion dollars. and Maker Studios produces ERB. which is what he meant by "I own this whole series."

Sort of, but not really.
Disney is an American company. Back in the....going off memory, 1800s, a couple companies became monopolies. That is, one company basically controlled an entire industry, like steel-production, railways, oil production, etc. The owners of these companies became so rich, their wealth, in today's terms, would reach as high as several hundred billion. For comparison, the richest person today is Bill Gates, presently estimated at $82.9 billion. While not all of these people were malicious, monopolies are dangerous, because one company can basically prevent you from getting your hands on a product or resource. If only one company produces any meaningful quantities of steel, and they decide they want to charge ridiculous prices, you have no alternatives, and they could refuse to do business with you outright. As a result, a bunch of laws were put in place to protect against monopolies and that allow for the breaking up of monopolies into several smaller companies.

For those who don't know Mr. Hooper was a Sesame Street character. Instead of replacing him with another actor they wrote the actor's death into the show. It was a groundbreaking episode.
Disney owns pretty much every channel and show that you see on tv. It's kinda scary really. Not just tv either, Disney owns many magazines, newspapers, toy companies, food companies, movie studios and more.

@@DwayneNJazz I just wanna say that jazz is the first person out of the crap ton of reactions to this that I watched that figured out it was disney BEFORE he said "I'm the DisneyLand-lord of your intellectual property" literally nobody realized that they spelled out M-i-c-k-e-y like in his show Mickey mouse clubhouse until they heard DisneyLand-lord and went back to the beginning of his rap to hear it from the beginning while actually knowing who he is and even then only one person realized and was like "OH MY GOD I'M AN IDIOT THEY LITERALLY SPELLED IT OUT FOR ME" 😂🤣😂 literally the only person who realized it after going back that I'd seen and you're the first to figure it out right off the bat that I've seen and that's saying a lot
The Mr. Hooper part was sad because he was a character from Sesame street who suddenly died in real life. It was the first time Sesame Street had to talk about death and it was the saddest episode because there was a scene with Big bird having a hard time understanding death

Because once Disney gets involved, they always win. It never needed to be said. Plus the whole verse by Walt Disney was actually kinda sadistic.
This is honestly one of my favorite battles, mainly because it kinda shows how Walt Disney actually acted, not like most people think that he acted
A lot don't seem to get the viciousness of the Mr Hooper ("Mr Looper!" -Big Bird) line - I still remember the episode of Maria and Bob having to explain to the muppets & co why Mr Hooper won't be serving sodas any more.
