Originally I thought I would need to take this to the dealer to have installed but after watching your video, I found the replacement side view mirror and installed it myself. Maybe 20 minutes total which included getting my tools. Thank you !!!

So no programming needed? I am getting a blind spot and cross traffic error due to the LED in the mirror going out apparently and am going to replace… hopefully this gets rid of the error
Hello! That is a great question. I know for some other vehicles, they can be. I am not sure on the Explorer and it's pretty uncommon on American cars. I would check some Ford forums. Thanks for watching!
The glass is held on by plastic prongs. Wear gloves so you don't cut your hands, but pull one corner first until it pops then the rest should be easy to take off. That is if the glass is in fact sold seperately.
Hello! Your best bet is probably on eBay, OfferUp, FB Marketplace or Craigslist. You cold negotiate or barter on these platforms. Ford parts are just expensive for all their vehicles. Good luck!

My 2013 Ford Explorer is a base model and does not have the blinkers on the mirror do you think I can upgrade mine to ones with the blinkers ?
