@@AbsolutelyPlasmadic I am the dev, yes! And thank you! It took a while to find a good stylized look, but I finally found one for the game! The main monster art though, I can't take credit for. That is @Chaopocalypse art, and was a fantastic gift. All other art was drawn by me though. Just keep at it. The more you work at pixel art, the better you get; a big thing I learned when first drawing with pixel art.
Because I can still add more to the game, I won't say if this is wrong or not. Seeing people guess on what things do helps me think of new things to do with the game. Though, I might make it hold 4 as well, since it costs as much as the Barracks.
Kinda confused about why you'd want to bother with workers. Seems like you can just click the tiles and get resources much faster. Gotta be something I'm misunderstanding there.
@@DevyOats and if you think about long term, you could build up to a point where you're not gathering resources manually all that often. If you get enough land to have workers farm everything for you, you can focus your attention on development and killing
ok i just tried playing the demo... but maybe because its a demo so it didnt turn out like how retro is playing it?? or maybe its a bug?? example tried putting gold coin at the castle but wasnt able to. N a few others... will wait to see other people comments 1st though
Retro was playing the full version. For the demo, the coin doesn't do anything other than make the Castle. In the full game, the coin is used for more.
With every action, the timer above goes up. Each new day gets harder. But it's interesting seeing players start to get frantic despite being turn-based. Even I do it when I play the game. Though streamers are on their own video timer, so that also adds to it.

My guess: The watch tower is for attacking at range but is really weak close up.
