Killers of a Certain Age is on my TBR. Good to know that it is an easy read. I love that candle! That's so fun. Bummer when things go wrong with your camera. "It's a moth!" 🤣 Do we need more books? No. But they make us happy! Sad to hear Nothing but Blackened Teeth didn't meet expectations. Have you read My Darling Dreadful Thing? I'm currently reading it and am really enjoying it. It is gothic horror and I think it may be something you would enjoy. 👻

Being sick can really suck I'm glad you're feeling better 👻👻👻 I really enjoyed my summerween too and ended up sticking with the sci-fi theme. After Dead Silence kind of let me down, Annihilation was honestly a savior (my book to read in the dark). I really like participating in the read-a-thons
Readathons are so fun, I definitely need to try take part in more of them
👻 Sorry to have missed the witchy outfit ☹️but I’m sure you’ll recreate it closer to spooky season 😊 I DNFed Killers of a certain age which was disappointing for sure. I have yet to receive my copy of Queen of Poisons from the library. I really need a good cozy mystery right about now.

Since I was away during Summerween, I decided to do a Summerween reading weekend. I read That's Not My Name by Megan Lally and loved it. Then I started reading Where He Can't Find You by Darcy Coates. Hoping to finish this book + one before Wednesday before I need to wrap up things for this month and figure out my tbr for August 😅👻

👻I also bought Lost in the Garden and I got Private Rites out the library - very excited for both! I can definitely understand you buying books cos you felt sad - I was in a bad mood the other day so I went to the library and borrowed 8 books 🙈📚
