Mary - You never cease to amaze me. You take on these projects that look kind of hopeless and turn it into something amazing. And you do is so neatly. I would have tarp all over the floor to catch all my splatters and you’re in nice clothes and don’t even get any paint on yourself. Beautiful job!!
I really do like how the cabinet turned out! I smile when I see you using the big power tools and then you pull out your little hammer with the flowers on the handle. Keep up the great work. I love your trash to treasure projects!!
That cabinet turned out so beautiful! You really have a gift at seeing something and knowing exactly how to refurbish it! And I must admit that I loved hearing the woodpecker in the background at the end!
Absolutely beautiful! I love the clip at the end listening to the birds chirping and the woodpecker pecking! It must be so serene to just listen to the nature around you! 💕
Mary, I watch the care and love you put in to each and everyone of your projects. It makes me think what a wonderful mom, wife, friend, creator, and person you are! Thank you, your porch cupboard turned out beautiful!
Good to see Twinkle and Pebbles again. That woodpecker was really hard at work! The cabinet turned out great, and inspires us to try the same makeover. Blessings to you and the family.
Hi o hi o Mary, 😊 You did GREAT on the cabiet!!cabinet!!! GREAT choices of colors & shelf liner. So, so beautiful 😊 Now you have make your sister one Marlene. Most of all !!! Love hearing the birds in the back ground & watching your kitty cat too. Now I want one too!!!😊 Thanks again for sharing.
I love every element you added to this shelving unit! I have to say in my opinion this is one of your best trash to treasure make overs ever!! Great job!!
Wow, wow, wow!!!😮 That poor old cabinet I think was smiling as you were sanding, painting and adorning her with your clay work and glass handle! I’ve never met you but I’m so proud of how far you’ve come just in the couple of years I’ve followed the incredibly talented Yoders family! I know somewhere down the road you’ll turn it into a coffee hutch! Your family sign turned out so nice! Thank you for all that you do!
I love how you turn an ugly piece of furniture into a thing of beauty. You gave me an idea for an old cabinet that's been taking up space in my garage. These types of videos are my favorite.
It's the ugly duckling turned into the beautiful swan! Absolutely love your cabitet, just gorgeous. You're so right, that is the perfect green. Wonderful addition to your porch!
Не си просто работлива и умна, ти си талантлива в това да съживиш и най- изстрадалите , за другиго ненужни вещи и да ги превърнеш в естетски, полезни , прекрасни неща. Невероятна си!
Once again, you took an old piece and gave it new life. It looks great! And once again, you are painting in a lovely top and get no paint on it. That's one of my life goals - to paint, cook, bake, some days just eat without slopping up my clothes!😂
Mary you’ve done it again 🎉 what a beautiful piece! I love the green color, you’ve motivated me to repaint a piece of furniture I have for my dining room, thanks for all your inspiration! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💖
Love the finished cabinet... that is the perfect shade of green! Had to laugh Mary to see I'm not the only one who throws a drop cloth over the dining room table rather than battling the outdoor conditions or multitasking indoors.
Can't believe how nice that ugly cabinet turned out. It still would make a pretty coffee bar as the beautiful color and paper you chose. Another great job Mary!
Great job Mary! I make over a lot of furniture and I could not see your vision for this piece. But you did an amazing job bringing that little cabinet back to life. Just goes to show what paint and creativity can do. It turned out beautiful.
Just gorgeous!! I like the floral accent with the green, really pretty. Mary your Front Porch Sign is too cute, and I might add it goes perfect with the sound of the birds, nature, and I believe a woodpecker in the background!!🐦🌺🌷🌱
I agree Mary, that piece was was in more shoddy condition than anything else I've ever seen you redo. It looked as if it had water damage, warping, splitting, chunks of wood missing, etc. You really transformed it & gave it it's dignity back again, great job!
That little cabinet looks nothing like it did before the makeover. It's so cute and looks great on your porch. I think that is my new favorite upgrade project from you.
Another beautiful transformation Mary. It looks perfect on your front porch exactly where you have it, as though it’s an extension of your kitchen. The woodpecker at the end was the cherry on top.
I TOTALLY LOVE THIS!!! I cannot miss your show on Wednesdays. You have been so blessed with your talent! As you are a woman of faith you are not selfish to share your talents. I am proud I found you many moons ago and have been able to know you througr RUclips. I wish we could all know you personally. I would certainly count that as a blessing!
Mary, everything you do impresses me, but the number one skill you have is painting without a drop cloth and in nice clothes! I am in awe! I wear every color I use and my drop cloth is so close to a Jackson Pollock I could hang it as modern art 😂😂😂
Oh my goodness Mary, this is the dearest little cabinet. I love it. My grandmother and aunts use to have similar white cabinets holding jam jars, plates, etc.
Hi Mary. So glad u rescued that cabinet. It came out beautifully and that was the perfect spot for it. Funny how where we orinally thought we would like it things change. Love everything about it. The paint color, the wallpaper, the glass handle. GREAT job,
WOW Mary, it looks GORGEOUS! The wallpaper makes it absolutely perfect! And the paint color is gorgeous, as well! I'm sorry to say that I have missed seeing your videos for probably the last 4 months. I miss your call mean demeanor and just how you explained your videos and your project that you're working on but I'm thrilled to say that I'm back! May our Heavenly Father continue to bless you and your family! From Central Oregon!
Wow! Mary, your vision for repurposing a piece of old furniture is amazing! I love this piece! So fresh and colorful….glad you went with green. Looks awesome on your porch!
Mary, the cabinet looks perfect! I love the color & contact paper. Wonderful details with the handle & trim pieces. As usual you turned a ugly duckling into a seam. 😊 Thank you for the inspiration.
Love how the cabinet looks and I love the way you work , no fuss just go to work wherever you need to, that’s how I work and my husband has a fit when he sees what and where I’m doing it. But the job gets done no mess ☺️ thank you Mary for your inspiration. X
Mary, your darling cabinet is so perfect for your delightful porch. Such a beautiful green. Your skills are absolutely remarkable. I love watching you do fun projects like this! Welcome spring, and May your family feel the love of Christ this Easter season in the most special way. Linda
Wonderful make over ! Something that someone would have thrown away is now a beautiful piece to Welcome you home! That shade of green is my favorite. Every Paint Co has a different name for it, some call it Basil Green, etc…. I simply call it sensational! How perfect is the paper with it ! I absolutely love it when you work outside and we can hear your birds in your area. So relaxing. I wish I had known about your wood cutouts before I bought the ones off Amazon ( those pretty oval shaped ones for the Bridal Shower) I know now 💕 How pretty are those new pillow covers with the Birds! Have a blessed week !
When I saw the clip that said can this even be saved I literally laughed out loud! I knew you could make it beautiful!! Nice job!! Now I’m on the hunt for one for my porch lol!!
The cabinet looks so great, you did a very good job and saved it to give it another life. I love the color, contact paper, mold shapes, the new handle. Beautiful! What a welcome as you walk to your door. I loved hearing the spring sounds on the video. Here in Minnesota it is still very much winter.
Mary, this is so pretty! I love the shape of the "feet" or bottom of the cabinet--such a pretty detail. It turned out so well. I'm not sure what kind of clay you were using, but with the air dry clay I use and the moulds, I use an old artist brush and put a little cornstarch on the mould before I fill it with clay. I overfill the mould and when its all full and pushed down I take the flat edge of a butter knife and cut away the excess clay to save for later. If you are going to be attaching the clay item to a rounded or curved surface, you HAVE to remove the clay item as soon as it's formed--it will take a litle practice you just have to be gentle. I then put glue on the back (wood glue works for me) and attach it to whatever its going on. If necessary, you can use blue painters tape and tape it on to hold it until it dries. If I have room, I'll just lay the cabinet or whatever onto its back until the item dries in place. Again, you can gently get items out when they are "wet" and let the air dry sitting on waxed paper. This is helpful if you are making a number of items using the same mould shape. Wish I could win the lottery so instead of working 40+ hours a week outside the home, I could spend those hours working for myself. Making, creating, and dreaming up new ideas. Thank you Mary for sharing your gifts and talents with us.
I have not been a fan of green, other than plants, but this year I am loving the shade of green you used on the cabinet. Great job painting the cabinet & with the items you used to display in it.
Such a transformation!!! You are so blessed and talented....you can make something out of nothing!!! That cabinet was destined for the dump I'm sure...you saved it!!! Nice job....❤️
Amazing makeover Mary! What a transformation from that ugly brown cabinet. I love the paper you used as well. So pretty. Isn't it awesome how an idea for something, turns out completely to be something we did not envision! 😉 Love it!❤
Oh that cabinet turnd out so beautiful, I love the colors you picked, it looks so great on your porch, and having those plants on it is such a beautiful thing. Thanks so much for a wonderful video that was so much fun watching, you are just so amazing at the makeovers that you do. I hope that you have a blessed and beautiful week ahead, sending love and hugs, bye! 🤗🥰🙌💜💜
Hi Mary. I read a few of the comments first and how they liked the color green with the wallpaper. It is amazing what color can do for any thing that can take paint and there are so many beautiful colors to pick from. I think it is the perfect piece where you have it and for your plants. Thanks for the video! 🪴🪴
It's really lovely! I like the aire of nostalgia that the color/floral combination brings. Plywood is thin layers of real wood laid/glued perpendicular to one another. This adds strength, stability and prevents warping. I'm all about it. It does need some extra sanding on the edges but, otherwise is a decent choice.
Mary...you have been blessed with such talent and skill. I love your little shelf unit. It is beautiful. I look forward to your posts. So pleasant to watch and so informative. Thank you so much for sharing. I love it! Oh, your kitties are so precious.....and happy. God bless you and your loved ones.
Ugly duckling to beautiful swan, that’s what you’ve created Mary, l love it, and it’s perfect where it’s situated, and l’ve always wondered if woodpeckers ever get a headache lol, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
I am always in awe of your talents and creativity. You are inspirational and a blessing to all that follow your work. Thank you for sharing your journey and your skills with the world.
I really like this cabinet. A coffee bar would delightful but this porch cabinet is lovely. I would like to see some horse shapes as well as the bunny shapes you had available for Easter as I enjoy them all year long when they are a neutral finish.

It turned out beautiful and I have to say I especially love the birds singing in the background!
its so satisfying turning an ugly duckling into a lovely piece, nice job dear!

I agree Mary, that piece was was in more shoddy condition than anything else I've ever seen you redo. It looked as if it had water damage, warping, splitting, chunks of wood missing, etc. You really transformed it & gave it it's dignity back again, great job!

When you placed the cabinet on the porch I thought it was the perfect spot! As usual, incredible job making the cabinet multi-purpose and useful!
You're right, that is a perfect shade of green. So lovely.

I am amazed how you can change something old and making it so beautiful. I would leave it on the porch where you put it. Looks very, very pretty.
These are my favorite kinds of videos. You are so inspirational and inspiring, thank you.
I really like this cabinet. A coffee bar would delightful but this porch cabinet is lovely. I would like to see some horse shapes as well as the bunny shapes you had available for Easter as I enjoy them all year long when they are a neutral finish.
