I love all of these things! I would LOVE to have any of these in my home! Mary, you do exceptionally good work! I’ve said it before, You’re no doubt the best DIYer on all of RUclips! I’m sure others will agree!!
Having grown up in England post-war, it gives me such satisfaction seeing how you re-use old things to make beautiful new things. That's how we were then too, wasting nothing, and everyone in our working class was able to turn their hands to repair and create. It warms my heart, thank you. 😊
My parents were children of the depression. They always said ",eat it up, wear it out, make it do." They wasted nothing.
Your comment is so wonderful. I’ve watched documentaries about post war countries but you’re only the second person that I’ve ever heard comment about it in real life. People like you hold a special part of history that no history book can describe. Thank you for sharing your past with us! Mary teaches us that there’s beauty and usefulness in everything if we only look at it through different eyes. Blessings to you! 🥰🙏🏼🙌🏻
A girl after my own heart....wood working and a good ole pair of steel toe flip flops!!! My husband shakes his head all the time lol!! Awesome video thanks for sharing.
This has been so encouraging to one who feels old and put out on the woodpile. Still of use, praise be.
Never feel useless. There is always someone out there that needs love. Be it people or animals. Volunteer, foster a pet, just put yourself out there.
@@debraclark3080 I do all this and it does make the difference. Have a wonderful day
Nancy Anne Berg your age and wisdom are a blessing. God bless
@@TexasMom68 thank you
Nancy Anne Berg hey Nancy, I often feel the same way anymore. I’m a disabled Desert Storm Vet and just can’t get out and do what I used to be able to do and the past several months have really contemplated what my purpose in life is anymore, I know there has to be one but it sure doesn’t feel like it and I don’t like this feeling at all. It’s a hard struggle when you can’t get out anymore and you don’t have many friends that come by anymore to even check on you so I understand how you feel!!
Videos like this help me so much tho. I’ve got a big pile of wood out here to easily make everything that was made in this video but I don’t have a way to make the stencils and that’s what really sets everything off with the sayings on them. Even tho I’m so damaged, there’s still so much that I can still do but it seems like I’m always missing one of the most important steps to be able to finish things off so I’m stuck with starting stuff that I can’t finish again and that puts me into another dilemma that I haven’t figured out how to get out of just yet. Hopefully one day soon I can figure out a way to make things come together.
We gotta keep hoping and praying Nancy! If we give up on that then nothing will ever happen, so keep hoping and praying cause today or tomorrow may be the day!
And there’s more of us out here than you know, and we have to give each other hope cause it seems like everyone else gives up on us for some reason. In my case, since I can’t go to the mountains hunting and fishing and play mr fixit for everyone, it’s easier for everyone to just stay away I guess I’m not sure if that’s it or not but it feels like it. But hang in there , I’m here for ya if you need to chat anytime.
Wow what you did is *beautiful!!*
Thanks for sharing!!! ❤🤍❤
Love how you tackle anything....in a skirt no less...you amaze me
I'm tickled each time I see you wearing flip flops to work in! I'm from South Carolina and my mother wore flip flops year 'round!
Moma McNeely I don't think she is allowed to wear any other clothes but skirts
@@sueojeda5712 she's actually just more comfortable...she did a Q & A video once that answered questions regarding her style of dress and why she still wears a head covering. While the head covering is faith based, the clothing is not so much so.
Mary, all your projects are a work of gold.Your heart shines thru them🙂
Well said, love this channel, Mary is so creative!😁👍❤
Mary, your very blessed with talent that God gave you, it shines. I love watching you and getting great idea. Thank you. Pam
Mary every video: "Hi Guys!"
Me every video: *Hi Mary!!!*
Can you tell, I get excited for new uploads?! 😄
I look forward to every video! Loved this one goes to the saying of one man's junk is another man's treasure!! Or(woman's)
@@craftspecialist7184 Agreed! I loved every single piece! Mary has inspired me to start building my collection of power tools. I have a pine breakfast nook set I've been hoarding in my garage for YEARS that needs fixing! I can't wait to get the job done!
Jesse i do the same thing!!!!!!
Jesse Lynn me too! I don’t mind Hi guys! It generic!
Love what you do. I have begun creating things out of wood scraps and even restored a dresser after watching you and I'm 65 years old. Never to old to learn new things but except for you I would never have tried.💙
Beautifully crafted pieces! I love how you incorporate scripture and give glory to God in your works of art. He has certainly gifted you to be able to make such treasures out of what some would call trash. Thank you for sharing with us. Blessings!
Really nice farmhouse items from old wood!! God has blessed you & you are so the Proverbs 31 woman. I admire you ❤
Many yrs ago as a Cub Scout Den Leader (my son is now 54! 🤣) for Mother's Day we made a similar birdhouse... With stenciled the words 'Home Tweet Home' making the first o a hole, with a tiny perch... & before the days of glue guns that was the toughest part.
Needless to say, the Mom's loved them!
I can not believe you made all those beautiful pieces with that old rotten fence. Wow love it
I know this is an old video but I am watching it again. It brings to mind what my mother used to say about me "you can always make something out of nothing" meaning that I tried to make the most of what I had. I am now 76 and you are a girl after my own heart. I can no longer do these things but I love watching you make them. Thank you Mary.
Mary, at the beginning of this video, when I saw that smile on your face, I knew we were in for a "treat" And I was not disappointed! I reallly like ALL your created items. I love rustic also. Thanks for sharing. God Bless
You are an example that you do not need to be rich to have a beautiful home, with a little creativity and dedication it is achieved. I congratulate you I love your videos.
Mary, you are a true artist...you see 'raw' materials and make beautiful things from them...like Michelangelo seeing a block of marble and saying, 'It was there, I just had to let it out.'
Old fence boards are my favorite wood to work with
It always amazes me to see women in skirts and sandals working with construction materials! 😊💖
Only Mary can get excited over someone giving her an old broken done fence! What a difference in the hands of the master! That table display tray is beautiful! 🤩👍🏻
I LOVED every single one of them! I hope you make tons more from that old fence pile! Can't wait!
Love anything with scriptures or biblical sayings...& we are definitely ‘one nation under God!’ Thank you! Hard work, but very brilliant! ❤️🙏🏻
Mary, God has blessed you with such a creative mind! I'm inspired by your creations, and now I'm on my way to the backyard to rescue the salvageable deck boards from our burn pile!! 😁
Mary, you are one incredible n talented lady!! I can be down n watch ur video n BAM, I forgot what was making me down❤️❤️. Love you n ur vids!!
Mary, you have worked your wonderful magic again... Every piece is beautiful! Thank you for your weekly gifts of respite from the world, especially these days. You are a blessing ❤️
I am always saving things like that. My son will put things on the burn pit and I go and rescue it and hide it. Everything has potential. Good job Mary.
I love how you get excited by old rustic wood. Yearly, in the town I live in, they do bulk garbage pick up. I live out in the country, but will cruise the neighborhoods in search of old fencing and any wood honestly since you can't pull it once it's hit the dump. I get really excited when I see a pile of old fence pickets. 😊
Oh, I’m so glad I watched this vlog on how to use your stencils! I am the person you so kindly sent a second one after I messed up the first. Now my stencil came out perfectly!
Boy! The way your brain works!! For you to look at the big ole pile of old wood & come up with these beautiful pieces is mind-blowing!! Your talents are so diverse & unique. You make Wednesday my favorite day of the week!!!😍😍😍 TYFS....
You took something that didn't look the greatest and made it beautiful. All of the pieces turned out beautiful. 🌿🌻🌿💛🌿🌼🌿🍁🌿🌾
Oh Mary you nailed it once again 👏👏👏👏🚜🧑🌾🤠🤠🇨🇦🇨🇦
I am always so impressed by you and your work. I get so excited when I see that you have a new video. You make my day.
Blessings to you and your loved ones.
Me too I love watching her.
I wish so many, people were like you and I ,alot of people who watch your video. As a child I was taught don't get ready of something right away . You might need it or someone else. I love old looking signs. My grandfather back in the 70s took our old p. Table and made us two chairs. He brought new wood and made us a new table. If he was alive today . I know he would be bring me old more wood and say now you make me something. . I have a few fence pieces. I want to make a garden Angel from some and I'll look again ,maybe a Christmas sign out of the rest
I absolutely love the barn door sign. What awesome neighbors to share their discards!
Every single piece is gorgeous! You have such a gift Mary! Thank you for sharing your talents with us! ❤️
Mary, your work is gold! When I watch you work with the old barn wood I can almost smell the old barns of home.
I have loads of old fence pickets in a neat pile on our property. The wood is probably 50 years old with old chippy green paint. This video makes me happy and fills me with ideas!
YOU, Mary are amazing!!..your Industrial Farmhouse/Gardeny home sooo cool ..love the old wood recycled.....!!💗💗🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I love how everything turned out. You truly amaze me. I love how you put your mind to something, and you make it, and of course it's beautiful. God bless you.
What a beautiful video! I love everything you created with the old wood! What a gifted and amazing lady you are! God bless!
What beautiful masterpieces! Love every item. The grain on the wood after you sanded was perfection. I hope you are having a great week. Thank you Mary.
Hi Mary. Your creativity is off the charts. All of these pieces today are so wonderful. You make them seem so easy and quick to do but I know the time and love you put into each one. Wednesday's are good days. ❤
Can’t tell you how peaceful it is watching your videos. Thank you for your time
Ones cuter than the next! Love them all! I would never have painted the box black, but now seeing it, I love how it turned out!
❤ Everything is SO beautifully made! Beautiful pieces! I love old barn wood…SO full of character and awesome beauty!
we have a modular home factory nearby and they leave their scraps out for free. Lots of pallets and OSB but we hit the jackpot and got chucks of pine. Perfect for what I need. Pumpkins! You transformed the pile of wood!!!!I am in awe!

I love all the projects, but especially the black reverse stencil on the box, and the twig letters Fall sign!! But all clever uses of that old fencing!
This has to be my ALL TIME FAVORITE VIDEO! That old wood..... simply incredible and what a gracious gift and not burnt 🙏. I adore old wood! Every single project you did in this video....I love ! Love the Door and wording .... 🧡 Love the table centerpiece and your old hardware!
Yes... my favorite video 🧡🧡🍁🍁🧡🧡😁👍
I couldn't wait to get the morning stuff done so I could pull up your post. I figured getting breakfast was long enough, everything else was waiting. Lol. Watching your post is not only informative and beautiful, but you just have a calming spirit about you that rubs off on me through your videos. Once again, fabulous job and thank you for letting us be a part of it.
Recycle, repurpose and reuse. Mary all beautiful decorative pieces. Love them all especially the table tray.
These projects all are definitely a thumbs up! Thanks for sharing! 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
You work wonders with any type of wood you have! I love the old wood. I was raised to never waste anything and I like the way you reuse and repurpose things. Also, I wish I had half the talent you have!
You are amazingly talented Mary... the crate with America one nation. Under God. Made my week... we can not see those words enough during these times🍁💕🇺🇸

I am just amazed at all the things you came up with out of all that wood. You have a special gift Mary and we know that it is God that is blessing you. ❤ God bless, you are an inspiration!
Those are all awesome. I love stuff like this so much. My sister and I got some 100 year old barn wood. He gave a really good deal. Now we are going to get to work on them. Love your ideas. Thank you.
Look forward to Wednesday just for your video’s. In this mad world you are a joy to watch.
Thank goodness for people like you with the vision to save old things. I like all these pieces, but I like the waxed wood ones the best. Good job!
You are satisfied with so little and you can take it make a treasure with it. This was genius! Thank you.
Upcycling + making lovely things = perfect combination! Also, thank you for letting ppl know how to make these things if they wish to. That's truly unselfish. ❤ ✝️

Our Inspiring Lil' Mary. Bless You, For ALL that You DO Sweet Lady. 🤗
How fun and what a treasure trove of wood you received from your neighbor! I hope you make some things for your shop..........so so so cute and they should sell like hot cakes. Your imagination is just a true gift! So blessed are you with all these things. I love to use the big tools as well and my favourite is the chop saw for angles and just about anything I can use it for. I wish our space was cleaned out so I could get back to my wood crafts I did years ago. I have way too many hobbies.....LOL I love what you have made here Mary ..........such ingenious things and so sweet. I can see them under the tree for gifts etc. Trays and all sorts of things. I love bed trays and I bet you could make a few of those with handles with all of that wood...........a nice thing even to make to put things on in the bath for ladies or gents to put their items on.......perfumes, balms, etc etc.........just so many ideas! I love it all!
Congratulations on your wood haul!
Blessings

Mary you have an eye for seeing in wood ,glass, greenery what ever the material how to form it into something beautiful. A God given talent used so wonderfully🥰

The life left in it is You. Your mind just reels when you see something new., or old..I like the box with the black America on it. stands out. also the tray for the table. Saving all that metal hardware comes in handy. I need to get busy. Thanks Joyce
Oh my gosh can I come to your place? I love that you re use all this old wood. We recently tore down our shed and I actually kept the wood to make an out door play kitchen for my baby girl she loves it! And it’s gave me so many ideas! I also love the rustic look! Your so creative honey! ❤️
