- On this song Charles Altura plays the acoustic guitar, Chris Tordini plays the acoustic bass, Arthur Hnatek hits random things, Tigran Hamasyan plays "Hello Kitty" toy piano and an awesome Casio keyboard.
November 10th, 2013.
Tigran & especially Arthur prove that you don't need thousands of dollars of the most top notch equipment in the world to be a musical savant.
A genius. His normal heart rhythm must be 17/8, when he is sleeping 😂
Tbh I would be really concerned if that was the case lol.
this song is, quite literally TECHNICALLY in 4/4, just the accents are quite weird so it makes sense to count it in other ways.
This song is in 4/4
🤣🤣👍👍👏👏👏
Finally someone using hello kitty toy pianos the way they were designed for
My mind has been shattered, rearranged, evaporated, recondensed, and finally, atomized by this music.
RIP
This guy probably snores in genius melodies and rhythms.
hilarious ;0
It's very likely
Yeah, this one particularly, he farted.
Best comment I've read in awhile :P..going to steal that line for the next person I introduce to the great Tigran Hamasyan if you don't mind
"ZzzZzzz Tum takudak dadum daum tak ZzZzZzzZ "
I don't think the Hello Kitty folks ever could have imagined that GREAT ALL-ENCOMPASSING JOY would be possible with their little toy instrument. I dare not mention the mountain I wish you folks were playing on. I found this video rather late, it seems, but I'm glad I found it... thanks! This blew my mind up in the best possible way.
I can't explain it, but I keep coming back to this song and it just makes me happy
I can explain it... it's because this is pure joyous humanity at its very best! Who wouldn't be happy!
This music has led me to emotional ecstasy states never reached before. So grateful with Tigran.
haha "Arthur Hnatek hits random things". This video is so playful!
Sara Finkle yeah looks like he didn’t have enough time to unpack because the sunlight was almost completely gone lol
"Yo Tigran wyd today?"
"Goin up to the mountains to play with my toy piano"
"Oh, ok. Cool"
*my "Hello Kitty" toy piano
Beautiful
It is not the quality of instruments that is important, it is the caliber of the musician that makes the difference on this one. Thanks for bringing this video to my attention.
This song seemingly (and brilliantly) straddles micro rhythm and poly meter. Wow.
That synth at 3:01 sounds both haunting & heart warming at the same time. This whole experience is a prime example of musicianship at its absolute finest! ❤
what an incredibly intricate rhythmical piece, with that children's piano & in the mountains... unique
I can't understand how this was possible. I can't even breathe ;)
Same bro
The set up is genius!
I specially love the way mics capture that pure outdoor slightly rocky acoustic.
Armenia, siempre regalando musicos sobrenaturales para el mundo! Awesome!
Words can't describe how amazing this is.Pure oxygen for the soul
Thank you Tigran and the band members
I just can't describe how I love this tune!!!! I've played it over and over and I never get tired. Thank you Tigran Hamasyan. ❤
as someone said, it gives me a headache, but a good kind of headache.. Love the music
Never heard about Tigran, someone on facebook lead me here. This is an incredible song, best "rough prog" ever made, I really love this piece of music, congrat guys from sicily.
Gabriele Gemelli Rough?
It's more like Prog Music/Metal is a "Rough Tigran" thing lol.
Jesus, i just found out someone to be obsessed for the next months
Honestly, I won't be surpised if this was one take. If anyone could, it would be this guy.
This is a great video. I actually like the mistake at 1:15. It was human and seemed like deliberate space. Also, 3:08 is a very melodic solo.
we have the same taste man
It's not a mistake, just happy accident
His smile afterwards
agreed
Don't find it a mistake at all. The song may have been written in 4/4. It lines up perfectly. I think this was an intentional pause just to mess with you because that's what he does
My 3 year old son has the exact setup of a toy piano and a casino keyboard, clearly shows it's not always about gear. Incredible.
so fresh, so cool, so different!!!

lovely, lovely, lovely :)
Just stumbled across this, and I am truly blown away.
Wow!
1, 2, 3, 4, then wtf is going on
5 + 5 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 4 + 5 = 32
it’s still in 4/4 apparently
Check out this video that analyzes the piece and shows how it's still in 4/4: ruclips.net/video/IOLAQaZfSdo/видео.html
I know this comment is a joke, but if you want to try it, this song is in 4/4, but to practice that it's easier to just count like Henrik.
@@canalsecundariodojojo4475 the concept of counting rhythm is new for some People. Since it involves counting 4, 8, 16, 32 is kinda the same. So these numbers can be sliced in to smaller numbers to form a groove. The problem you might face is that you dont have a vocabulary of rhytmic units - specially odd numbers like 5,7,9,11 etc all you know is 4 and 4 and maby 3
Yeah súper música!!!
SO MUCH DATA
Yeah do you speak Morse code?
amazing!!! Greetings from Brazil!
