- My first medical school rotation was OB/GYN! What an adventure it has been since starting clinicals. After only a few weeks in, I began to realize one of the most influential and inspiring aspects of medicine which I discuss later in the video. I'm a first year med student and honestly struggling quite a bit and I've felt pretty discouraged lately but this got me so excited about what I'm doing again. Thank you so much for your videos (and RemNote), I can't explain how much this channel and the amazing creators on it have helped me.

I'm not in the medical industry, but there's a lot to learn in this video. Especially where you spoke about not being too worried because there's always a mentor or experienced person who can help you along the way. It got me thinking, I should always try my best and find the passion in what I'm doing, because one day, I'll be helping someone who might be stuck. As your learning something, learn it well. Not only will you be benefitting yourself in the short-term, but you will end up benefitting others in the long-term as well. Great video!🙂 I loved the storyline, the smooth transitions and cinematography too.

As a psychologist student I can say that even in another field I can relate what you're saying. Not practicing the theory makes everything way harder. Sometimes I feel that this holds me back! I can't wait for my supervised year!

I gotta say, stat c-sections are one of the coolest and most intense things to witness.

best thing about being a doctor is helping patients recovery and get back to their adl, worst part is the impact it can have on your body, sleepless nights and unreasonable patients/families

Heyyy love your channel could you help me decide if I should get an Ipad mini so that I can carry it with me during rotations later on in 3rd-5th year (not sure if an ipad mini is completely necessary lmk) or an Ipad pro/ regular Ipad for studying now (I'm in the last semester of 1st year rn 4/6 blocks almost done)?
I have seen many med students try to work the iPad into rounds, myself included, and I don't know why but it isn't as convenient as it seems. I think the main problem is that it's very difficult to connect to the EMR through a tablet and stay connected. Most student rounders still print off the list in paper format from what I've seen. I think it can be a good workflow in the future but I just haven't seen it yet. So I would probably go with iPad Pro/regular for studying right now but that's just me
hiii! idk if you’re going to see this but, i’m an aspiring doctor (pediatrician to be exact) and i honestly think that i’m not smart enough. do you think even though i’m not smart, i will be able to achieve my goal and become a doctor? thanks, i just need the encouragement right now.
