I’m really happy that people have kept this game alive, seriously most game don’t have the luxury of longevity and yet gw2 has been kept alive barely by it fans. Truly incredible!
I wholeheartedly believe that if they were to release a GW3 and were consistent with updates and whatnot, they would not struggle at all to maintain a solid fan base. GW2 is a perfect example of that.

I haven’t played GW2 in months, so I haven’t been aware of the servers pretty much shitting themselves, being unavailable. Last night I had a dream that I was playing again and there was a community event going on, all three rewards already being completed. My dream self was genuinely excited seeing this like “woah they did a community event after so long?!” I got sad waking up realizing it didn’t happen. What a coincidence I get this video in my recommended to soften the blow lol
honestly, these mods are awesome! It does feel like official updates by popcap. Though I will say, bfn didnt have the same element of gw2. gw2 had different types of plants but bfn just had costumes so I’m glad to see someone made a mod that makes bfn an update!
This reminds me of battlefront 2. Just cause the game is dead doesn’t mean the community hates it- to the point they CONSTANTLY create new hero mods with their own customized skills and more. I HATE when a game is fun but the devs are the ones to give up on it

Gw2 modders on their way to do more for a single game than popcap has done for the franchise in years. God I miss gw2 updates. I honestly wish they'd just hand it to the community at this point and let us vote in our ideas so busted things dont get in. I'd fund projects or try to code and program myself if it meant new content. I know this will sound mean but those bfn models just make bfn seem more unnecesary since a lot of it could've just been in gw2 and the gw2 lighting engine does the models better justice imo. Someone suggested a candy corn variant who every few shots appplied a random status effect and i liked that idea a lot. Those gravedigger variants look pretty cool. If modders could just make maps we'd be set for life. There's an entire mod based around bosses. I even used them in custom boss hunts.

i hope that the same server type mod that happened with titanfall happened in this game, removing hackers and allowing mods like this in online matches, everyone has access to the same characters as well.
I think camo variants are too busted for the game. Already hard to reach them because of their campie nature and just overall makes it an unfun experience for those on the receiving end.
For as cool as these mods can be however, I feel I need to address something. If these mods work online, intentionally or not, they can be very harmful to the servers of the game. Especially when it comes to playable bosses/enemies. As such these mods are best used in private games as to not ruin other's experience & to not harm the integrity of GW2 servers.

I think that battle for neighborville is still a great game and I play it to this day I didn't get it a release but I don't know why people aren't playing as much (BTW there is still a lot of players) but like just play the game there is no reason to not play a good game
