I found this very interesting as I worked in 1980 and 1981 at the Swedish Space Corporation (ESRANGE) rocket site which is near Kiruna. Spent many a night on countdowns watching the aurora. I had no idea the town was being moved but I can believe the problems. At Kiruna airport there used to be a sign saying "welcome to the LKAB mine" where the ore comes from. Also went to Abisko once. Theres a gap in the mountains that the Sami call something like "the heavens gate" thoough it was 40 years ago I was there and that might not be quite right. On saturday nights all the ore miners used to be at the bar at the rail station in Kiruna getting smashed. I had a fun time and you guys brought a lot of that back. Your vids are top dollar.

Been a bit poorly today but the upside is I have been watching lots of your vanlife vlogs :) When I sell my house in France I am going to buy a narrow boat to renovate in the UK and spend the rest of the money travelling around the world. I have been to Lapland before but only as a 'Package See Santa 5 day trip'. Not sure whether to buy an old VW or take a car and stay in Air B and B's along the way. Loving your vlogs.... thank you so much for the info, fun and entertainment x
