As an Arsenal fan I can be biased but for me a lot in the first 11 can be discussed, the difference was and is the subs. The only CL worthy player at Arsenals bench was Trossard while City had Akanji, Laporte, Fodem, Mahrez, Alvarez and maybe even Phillips.

Robbie was actually reasonably outside of Ramsdale. He put in Walker, Diaz, Rodri, De Bruyne and Haaland without argument

Robbie was great in this, because he actually knows how to handle Buvey's wind-ups. There's no way Grealish gets in over Martinelli btw. Absolutely no way. Grealish is good at keeping the ball and drawing fouls. Martinelli is way more dynamic with his pace, runs, dribbling, and his final ball is improving every season. He's an extremely attack-minded player and works very hard in the press as well.
I don't know what universe Grealish provides more to a team than Martinelli - Grealish barely makes Top 5 Wingers in the prem right, and on top of that he's losing his position as we speak.

Why do people always say that Ødegaard is in his 2nd season right now? He's in his 4th season at Arsenal. His 1st was only a half season, joining in January, but it was still 20 games all comps and over 1000 minutes. Played 36 PL games the next year, then 37 PL games last year. The guy is just not only in his 2nd season.

Walker - pace at that age is illegal
Saliba - without him, Arsenal collapsed at the back. With him, the defense is one of the top 3 most formidable in the league
Dias - world class. best cb in the league
Zivchenko /Ake - could go both way, but I would go Zivchenko. He's so versatile and does the work at each end well
Rice - Rodri suspended, but if he wasn't, well, we know who's in. But Rice has been sensational since joining Arsenal.
Odegaard - If there is another CAM, he drops deep limiting his effectiveness. But when he's played in the CAM role, he's a passer, dribbler, shooter, leader, everything
B Silva - he's been lowkey but it's cuz he's dropping deep and progressing play. He does the work PEp give him and more, and kind of suprised at how he's not mentioned. Fair shout to Viera because when he comes on, he's been class as well.
Alvarez - taking him on left wing. He sort of plays like a left wing cam role, but he's so good. Stepped up when KDB is out as provider
Saka - double marking him, and he still finds a through pass or a way out. If not double marked, then that's game over
