    As an Arsenal fan, who backed Arteta since day 1, he is not yet better than Conte. You can't compare the two really, one has been a manager for over 10 years winning multiple titles and creating great teams, the other is just starting. Arteta has had a great start but that's it a start. Conte is a well established great manager.

      I would agree with you there. At the same time, we are both as clubs in the same place: in transition. Arsenal is, however, way further forward in that, and that is mainly thanks to Mikel Arteta. Conte is two years behind, but the seeds for his transition is way less clear than it was for Arsenal in 2021.

    • @donegal7
      @donegal7 Год назад +8

      That's such a pointless argument though. 1. Arteta has had 3.5 seasons to get his squad 'right' with a significant backing from the board. 2. Conte has been at spurs for (what will be) 1.5 seasons. Conte hasn't even got the players he truly wants in yet. Do you honestly think the likes of davies, dier, and emerson are the players conte wants in this side?
      To summarise: Conte hasn't had enough time yet compared to Arteta, so comparing a manager who has a good project underway, to a manager who has barely started is just stupid.
      This whole debate is stupid tbh. Conte has about 10 major honours as a manager, 5 of them league titles; Arteta has an FA cup. Like I saw someone else say, this is a debate to be had in 20 years if Arteta does go on to win things, but right now, it's just ridiculous lol.
