NCT is just basically a group of guys who sorta know each other's languages but not really so you start improvising, using Korean as the base for each sentence/phrase and then inserting the words you don't know with English, Mandarin, Japanese, Thai, Cantonese, and plain ol’ body language. And somehow it all oddly works out in the end.

yeah because when you learn a language as your first/only language, you pick things up naturally instead of having to learn intricate grammar details and rules. With a language like English, where everything is about exceptions instead of rules, if you learn it naturally you never _really_ learn WHY things are done the way they're done, you just do them. Explaining WHY English is the way it is is so difficult lmao

I'm not their fan but I feel like I'm slowly becoming one... I've watched a lot of these nct language videos and honestly they're so funny and !!relatable!!
I'm Finnish which means I have had to learn English and Swedish in school. First I really sucked at English but thanks my great consuming of media I now only suck at speaking it. I've been studying Swedish for two and a half years but still forget some basics of it. Recently I started learning korean which is hard but I have a lot of motivation for it.
ALL of that causes me to forget almost every other word (and remember it in the wrong language) when speaking in Finnish. And when writing it happens to all of my languages...

    "Just go with your feeling"
Me when I try to teach English to my friends. And this is coming from a native English speaker..
Seriously though, I've always relied on my intuition when it comes to Eng. Adverb? Pronouns? What's that? Whenever my eng teacher starts correcting my classmates and uses those terms I automatically shut off and just write down whatever I think is correct. Seeing as I managed to get an A for English in my O Levels, I guess my instincts are pretty darn accurate.
Edit: I can also speak Chinese and since the sentence structure for eng and chi is different, I would sound weird when I'm trying to translate what I'm thinking into Chinese (When I think, 90% of it is in English) which results in a few funny instances
