But for some not common places, they would just learn basic words. For places like Japan, China, America, and even Thailand, these countries are the common places that idols goes to, so they have learn the languages.

One of my Japanese friends once asked me if I have any pets and I managed to talk about the dogs, cats and rat but when it came to the horse I completely forgot what to call it and I said it in every language I know APART from English and Japanese which are the only languages he can speak. I said:

And didn't think to just say horse or うま

It's funny because half the time I can barely speak English and it's my first language and the only one I'm actually fluent in like I can't imagine being able to speak more than two languages.

I have 2 mother languages but I also speak English and Korean. Even when I'm not fluent yet but once I forgot the word "feel" in my mother language then I kept saying 느낌 to my friend then she laughed(cuz she knows what it means) then I still tried to found the right word but ended up said the one in English, then the one in Indonesian, until finally I remember the right word in Javanese 😂

Ahh I have a similar struggle 😂 My mother language is Serbian, but I'm fluent in English/ I have been learning it in school since a young age and I basically think in English while speaking in Serbian. I constantly add English words when I don't like the Serbian one or if I forget it. Now that I'm learning Korean too, I use it mostly over texts with my best friend cause she's the only one who understands it 😂

@@taeyongsarang I hope that I won't forget the languages, through I am working towards moving out of Serbia when I'm older and possibly living in a English speaking country. I take pride in knowing more languages, it's honestly so much fun to learn them so I can understand more people ^ I also know a little bit of French as I learned it for 4 years in elementary, but since I wasn't as interested I didn't learn it better

I'm a multilingual I was born in Japan and lived in China for 4 years then we went to korea and lived there for 5 years then now I'm 15 and living here in US I'm used to speak different language since I'm not good in English I went to school that time and I was asked what am I good at and I answered "Naega---I'm good at cooking" and I was sent to the principal's office I freakn don't know why until now

I learned English, then Chinese, then Korean, then Japanese. So because of how I built it on one another, one time, my mind went Japanese --> Korean --> Chinese--> And I spoke in English. @Girl I think you might have misunderstood. My native tongue is Swedish, my second language is English. I wasn't being critical towards these awesome kids, I was saying it's relatable to me. I mix my Swedish with English nowadays because I forget some words in Swedish but I remember the English word instead. And sometimes my brain translates one way but my mouth talks the other way. Also, some phrases and idioms works better and conveys what I want better in English than Swedish, or the other way around. I don't know if you understood any of that, I had a bit of a hard time reading your comment... it's a bit messy? Are you ok?
