i think it's time for me to speak about this. a couple of people have posted comments on this video talking about their discomfort regarding the "fat kun" thing, and i want to adress their completely valid concerns. i will try to explain some things, so that everything is cleared up. first of all, i want to apologize to those who might've felt offended, or those who think i'm stupid for including fat kun into this compilation. as i said to someone else on the comments, the reason i included it was because lucas' faces when he said fat kun (and *the way* he said it) were so funny and amusing that i thought it became iconic for that reason (someone else also explained that the "fat" part was a chinese pun/play on words but i can't remember their exact words 😔), it definitely wasn't my intention to make people think making fun of kun is okay. it is pretty known that he tends to feel insecure about his weight, so i wish i hadnt included that phrase in this compilation because i feel like it is my responsability (with so many views,,,) that there are still some immature nctzens laughing about it. it's not what i was going for ;; i never meant to further spread kun's insecurity like this. that's why i want to ask every nctzen (or not) watching this video (new fan, old fan, *anyone* ) to *PLEASE* let that "joke" die. it may have been somewhat funny at the moment, but this is a 2018 video. it happened years ago, and lucas himself doesn't even say it anymore, so there's no reason for you to keep it going as well. i want you to please respect kun as a talented performer, an amazing leader and an incredible human being. i know a lot of you mean no harm by posting fat kun comments, so don't feel bad if you have done it. just please reconsider your actions, and try to educate yourself! :) we're always learning, and we will always have some immaturity in us, so these things might happen. i want to apologize once again, i'm seriousy really sorry. i'm aware that this video probably had a lot of influence in the fandom, so i had to speak up about this. this video has received an overwhelming amount of love, and i'm very very thankful to all of you 💖 i'm glad that a lot of you are watching this compilation with adoration and nostalgia. that is its purpose now, almost 2 years after i posted it. to make you think about the good ol' times :) we all miss empathy era, but i'm sure the boys have a lot of projects in store for us in the future! so *please* keep supporting nct & wayv, whether they promote separate or together, and *please* keep in mind that a lot of the jokes you may see here are not "trendy" anymore. iconic moments end up being forgotten or replaced, and *that IS okay!* because nct and wayv are *still* active giving us content everyday, right? 💚 so when watching old content, let's keep in mind that it is, indeed, *old* . okay? let's be careful about what we joke about. love u (❁´◡`❁)
