I was 12, I sold seed one spring and had enough points to win 2 rods and lots of fishing gear. I cut shool and fished a farm pond. I threw a white flat face lure at a stump and caught a huge crappie. Walking back home with a string of fish, a dude offered me 10 dollars for that fish. I am sure he won a contest with it. 10 dollars in 1959 was a nice peice of money.

Sooo funny!😂 I just bought two of those exact mini cranks three days ago and took them to my reservoir and put the smack down on some crappies! I was trolling them in 16’ of water with a 1/4 oz of weight about 6’ up from lure just to get them down a little, worked awesomely! They put out a lot of action at slow speeds.
