- Torrey Pines gave up the goods on this day. We were getting about 10mph west when I got there. After about an hour the winds climbed up to about 15-18mph. Everyone came in an landed minus a few tandems and wild ones. I was able to practice my spirals (Light ones) and practiced landing in stronger winds. It was a fun day. I also got to meet a famous RUclipsr. / @tygunnlaugsson This was such a fun day.
Thanks for the shout-out! It was nice finally meeting you!
Them guys that do low acro at Torrey have bigger cojonies than I... I like your swing landings.. keep the videos coming I’m digging it. Next PT episode needs more flying discussions and less blah blah... 😆 maybe the topic of wingovers and progression...
Thanks for watching my friend! You rock!
Very nice video Roberto thanks
Nice video as always Robert!
Thanks homie!
So fun watching you guys, as a powered ultralight pilot I laugh when you say 15 to 18 mph, those are days I stay home, lol.
Nice ride Robert... looks so refreshing.
Two thoughts: Tip the camera up before spirals so we can see the wing rather than the risers. Also, we all want to watch your SIV video. :)
Blocked*
looks like wonderful flying
Nice work, what a beautiful place we live in. Hope to get out there today before gets too strong.
I missed you guys yesterday. I should have went to blossom.
Cool!
Thanks for watching my friend!
Looked like a whale of a good time lol. Awesome flight.
Never fly without a motor! Haha!
Some day I will have a motor. Lol
Great videos! Seen a bunch now. Ever get out to AZ?
I will be in there in August. But I don’t think I will be able to fly.
@@paraglidingtalk , a few of us have been talking about beating the heat and coming out your way soon. Is blossom P2 friendly? Have you flown in northern Arizona yet?
-Chris (desert wind PG) Mahalo!
Dream Visions I have not flown in AZ at all yet. I really want to fly Apache Maid. Looks amazing. Blossom is a P4 site. But there are a handful of sites here that you could fly. Look up Horse, Palomar and Little Black.
The lift was strong, nice one man 👍
@6:02 I vomited. I think it was the music...
I was very underwhelmed thanks for the warning and why where you pumping left break LOL just messing with you bro great flight.
Never seen anchor man!? Get your priorities in order bro!
Nice!
Good Stuff!
Robert you crack me up! Are you able to safely attach a chase camera to your wing when you are paragliding?
Stay tuned. Video coming soon!
Absolutely underwhelmed.
😎
Cool location! Where is that?
San Diego CA. Place is called Torrey Pines Glider Port.
What's the callout you give "Going North RC (RT?)" is that site mandated? An inside joke with someone? Other?
It’s to let the guys flying RC planes know what I am doing. It’s for courtesy. 🙈
Ah, thanks! I'll know, when I get there (eventually).
do you ever use a smaller wing in windier conditions?
I don’t have a small wing. But I would try it for sure.
@@paraglidingtalk 18mph seems like time for a speedwing.
scottyflintstone no doubt about it.
Is that a different watch?
What hapend with the W800?
One of the guys who watched the show sent me the Garmin Epix. It’s a really neat smart watch with GPS and all kinds of features.
@@paraglidingtalk it is funny, I also fly a Rook 2 and I also sported a W800. 😄
iNDREI Ro we are twins!
@@paraglidingtalk, what is the size of the glider and what is your mass all up?
iNDREI Ro it’s a Rook 2 MS I fly all up at 95kg. It’s a 80-100kg weight range. 26m.
