I've been traveling to China for almost 20 years, and I've never encountered any of this. That said I eat mostly at hotels, convenience stores and restaurants in touristy areas. I appreciate that you have stuck to actual cases of counterfeit foods and didn't show any of the so called "leaked footage" of food counterfeiting operations one sees on social media these days. Most of the footage of "counterfeit foods" I have seen online are actually excerpts from videos showing the making of custom display dishes one can find in the windows of many restaurants in China and Japan. There is a huge industry around these display dishes and they are made by highly skilled and trained artists who would likely be deeply offended to have people claiming their products could be mass produced cheaply enough to be profitable fakes. The thought these products would be sold in place of some cheap food products like lettuce is frankly ridiculous.

One thing you should add to the honey part of the video. If the honey is collected from multiple farms (maybe over multiple countries) means that it gets melted after every collection. This means the Vitamins gets cooked out. So its better if you get it by one local farm. In germany you got often the label From EU- and non EU Countries. Which means the honey got collected over several farms. Not sure if you got a similiar label in america.

I appreciate that you have stuck to actual cases of counterfeit foods and didn't show any of the so called "leaked footage" of food counterfeiting operations one sees on social media these days.
Most of the footage of "counterfeit foods" I have seen online are actually excerpts from videos showing the making of custom display dishes one can find in the windows of many restaurants in China and Japan. There is a huge industry around these display dishes and they are made by highly skilled and trained artists who would likely be deeply offended to have people claiming their products could be mass produced cheaply enough to be profitable fakes.
The thought these products would be sold in place of some cheap food products like lettuce is frankly ridiculous.

One thing you should add to the honey part of the video. If the honey is collected from multiple farms (maybe over multiple countries) means that it gets melted after every collection. This means the Vitamins gets cooked out. So its better if you get it by one local farm. In germany you got often the label From EU- and non EU Countries. Which means the honey got collected over several farms. Not sure if you got a similiar label in america.
